Works superbly. By the way, don't worry about the lack of printed setup instructions. The internet provides several well-done videos about how to set up this popular HP printer.
This printer does everything that a big expensive one does. Easy setup and easy to use from phone, tablet, laptop. Great print quality. Highly recommend.
It is an excellent printer with superb printing. However, I find figuring out how to make copies or scan directly from the printer itself very difficult. There were no instructions and the glass menu was very confusing.
I was forced into buying this machine because my faithful old HP 8600 OJ Pro broke. This machine does not print as good, and the software sucks. It seems as HP's only mission is to figure out some kind of way to force consumers into getting on board with their ink subscription plan by hook or by crook. Having been a loyal HP customer for everything for over 40 years, it disheartens me to say that when it comes time again for a new printer, I will be looking at other brands. Big Tech has gotten too big and really SUCKS bigtime! I say, break them all up so that competition and real innovation can come back into the marketplace.
It is an excellent printer once you get it set up -- which took me about a week of trial and error. Instrctions did not come close to making it easier.
My officejet 8135e was well priced for the features it has, and I got 3 months of instant ink for free. Whenever I print something it seems to click and clank for quite a long time before it actually prints the page. Because it comes with virtually no instruction manual, I don't know whether this is a defect or a feature. Print quality is good.
The printer does everything I need to do with it. Average Printer. One thing I don't like and would not of purchased is it runs out of ink very quickly.
You don't want a review if you limit it to 100 letters. Neither me nor my husband could set it up. My Son had to come over and he set it up in a few minutes. We have had many HP printers and set them up ourselves. We may be getting older but not stupid. I have trouble printing! First it prints from the back to the front-I don't like that. It did pint the whole document and now it prints only 3 pages and stops. Even when I write down the numbers I want it to print, it started at the back and printed 3 of the last page last night. I don't like not having print preview and I don't like the box that comes up when I ask it to print. I like my last printer which was a HP7900; but it died and I thought we had a better one when we bought this one. Oh No. I would love to get my hands on a HP7200 again with the big ink wells and everything. I love that one.
This printer started jamming on first print job. Hasn't worked since. Support kept me on hold forever. Next time Cannon printer
I ordered this machine 2 times. One time didn't print and the second time didn't print color. I had the old model and worked amazing. I don't know what the problem is with the updated version. But sadly it's a terrible product.
