Lodge 12? Square Seasoned Cast Iron Griddle, P12SGR3, with assist handle

The Lodge brand speaks for it's self. I have just about everything Lodge makes. It will last a lifetime, but this grilling skillet is wonderful. I use it on my gas grill to grill hamburgers, or steaks. It keeps my grill from being such a mess to clean up. After the skillet cools,I just soak it in warm water, dry, and spray with cooking spray. Put in hot oven for about twenty minutes.

This pan is great for grilling vegetables & chicken. That's what I made so far. I made sure I seasoned the pan first by applying oil then heating the pan on the stove until it was very hot. Did that 2 times then started using it. My chicken & vegetables have not stuck to the pan. It gets better with every use. The only down side is the weight of the pan & always keeping it oiled in storage. This one weighs 8 lbs. Other than that I know I will never buy another grill again cause this will last forever! Great trade off!

Walmart actually sells merchandise that is made in the USA! You can't go wrong with cast iron made by Lodge! That plus a good price at Walmart made this a great buy!

The lodge 12 in. square griddle is the perfect griddle for use on the stove top or BBQ grill. It will make the best looking grill marks and cooks meat and vegetables equally well. Like all of the lodge cast iron cookware it is an excellent value.

Pan works very well. Once heated up keeps the heat for grilling foods. Once seasoned cleans up very well also.

It worked very good. The steaks looked like restaurant quality steaks and cooked perfectly and tasted surpurb. The ridges made the steaks look like grill marks. It was somewhat difficult to clean in the lower part between the ridges. Before I start I very litely oil the cooking surface with cooking oil and then place the pan into the grill. I then light the burners, close up the grill and wait until the grill is 500 degrees. Then cook the steak for one minute on one side and then one minute on the other side. Then lower the heat to 400 degrees and cook each side for 3 to 5 minutes depending on med rare or med well.

I have only used my grill pan once since purchasing it to make T-bone steaks and it seemed to do what it is supposed to. My steaks turned out great and the grill heated up very well and fast on my glass-top stove. Also, cleanup was really quick and easy! Great purchase from Walmart at a good price!

I just recently started using cast iron cookware and I loved it. So I decided to get a cast iron griddle pan. It's big enough to cook two nice size T-Bones on it for me & my guy. Takes up a lot of room on the stove but the steaks came out perfectly. My only complaint is the difficulty of cleaning it. I cooked some chicken with a marinate on it and it took forever to get it all out. Otherwise this is a great buy.
