LouAna 100% Pure Coconut Oil, 14 fl oz

When making my own chocolate chips for the first time, I was a bit leery about using coconut oil, but - with this brand LouAna, they came out great and don't even have a hint of coconut flavor. I am very glad I tried the coconut oil before going to the expense obtaining of real cocoa butter, and of course the oil has other uses, too.

I'm making refrigerator dark chocolate bars with this, some sugar and some cacao powder. I want to add chopped walnuts, most bars have almonds which are no longer sustainable. It is also a good cooking oil but I hear they need to make the lid from a tougher plastic.

Excellent coconut oil at a great value! It has a clean, fresh taste and works well for cooking, baking, and even skincare. The quality is consistent, and the 14 oz size is convenient for everyday use. A versatile product that I always like to keep on hand.

This is a Must Have in my skincare products!! I make about 50 different kinds of soaps with it plus I make body scrubs..skin conditioner bars... lotion bars..lip balm.. and lotion just to name a few and the good thing is that I can use it to cook with if I want plus it is very affordable!!

I prefer this over every other cooking oil. The smell is so faint, that I don't smell or taste coconut at all. I use this for the health benefit. As noted on the container, this can also be used on skin as a moisturizer; which I do on a regular basis. For the skin, I prefer the liquid. LouAna makes both. Great product.

My cat and I both love this coconut oil. I love that it doesn't have a coconut scent since I can't handle many scents. Cooking is so easy with it, makes everything taste good. I also use it for a moisturizer, makes my skin and nails feel good, The cat just likes to eat it in a dish on the bathroom counter. Highly recommended.

Love the texture and the fact it's a true food, not an essential oil. I mix any ingestible essential oils with this. My sister had a toothache and we mixed clove oil with this product to apply to her gums, it worked great! I, sure it's good for all kinds of other actual food reviews too.

I bought this coconut oil for my dog. She normally likes it, but there is no coconut scent or flavor in it anymore. I enjoyed using the scented coconut oil in my cooking as well. What happened to the scent and flavor? I will not be purchasing it again.

I've been buying for 10 plus years double pack of coconut oil that brand Louann,, used to be 999 now it's probably up to 12 or 1399. this is my fault but I still am totally disappointed I got too tiny tiny 14 oz Louann coconut oils they're less than half the size and I still got charged over $11 for two of them. it's not the price as much as it is the size with the price. was truly shocked and disappointed. going to rethink ordering like this again only cuz I'm a person that likes to get things in person ...now

This product has no smell and was very much almost “dry” when scooped from the container. The texture seemed weird, I cannot atest to the taste because we are using it for a sugar scrub for my daughter's wedding shower. I had to buy more of another brand to mix up some more batches and now I feel like I should redo what I already did with the LouAna, but then I would've wasted all of the other product and quite honestly I don't feel like throwing my money in the garbage these days. Severely disappointed.!
