McCormick Au Jus Gravy, 30% Less Sodium Gravy Mix, 1.0 oz Packet

If you are in a pinch and need AU Ju but don't have time to cook the beef and boilf for the broth. This is a pretty good Auju. Just add water, I put my Roast beef thinly sliced or Pastrami thinly sliced in the sauce and bring to a boil and then keep on warm while we all service ourselves.

I went online for some ideas to use this with and I was surprised at what all can be done. I decided to go super easy and use the Au Jus Gravy Mix for some french onion soup. It did not disappoint! Easy to use, really enhanced the flavor of the soup! I can't wait to get some more packets and use it as a marinade next.

We really enjoyed this product. I decided to make French dip sandwhiches. At my local grocery store I purchased roast beef slices from the deli, and I came home and I made this gravy in the stop top, and then o threw the roast beef slices into it to warm them up, flavor them, and cook it a bit. I the. Separated the gravy from the meat. I made homemade sourdough buns and then toasted them in the oven, and out the meat and some cheese on them. I used the gravy to dip the sandwich's in and they were great. Flavor was there, not too salty, perfect mix with the meat and good consistency. We enjoyed this and would purchase again.

I decided to try this less Sodium Au Jus Gravy mix in my Mississippi Pot Roast- in comparison to the full sodium Au Jus, it taste the same all in all. The kids gobbled it up and I'm happier they got a healthier option on their plates. I would definitely buy this again!

I've used this Au Jus Gravy Mix for making the gravy to go along with steak or roast beef but this time we're smoking a beef brisket for Thanksgiving instead of a turkey. My children have turkey at other places and our gathering will be on Saturday night. So we always have something different. I always choose a McCormick brand when looking for a seasoning mix anyway. There are SO SO many that I use! Especially the Mushroom Spaghetti Mix.

This McCormick 30% Less Sodium Au Jus Gravy mix is a great alternative to the regular packets, especially if you're worried about your sodium intake. While the difference in flavor between this one and the regular one is slightly noticable, it's not enough to keep me away from the healthier alternative! My sandwiches were delicious, and this was a great substitution for my usual!

This McCormick gravy mix has a good flavor very comparable to other gravy mixes the only thing I can complain about was it is really watery I think it should be a bit more thicker for dipping sandwiches in.
