This little adapter has helped solve a major issue that I had with my XBOX One Wireless Controller for PC -- that being, I couldn't use it wirelessly without it! Bluetooth is a bit restrictive in regards to multiple device connections in Windows, and I didn't want to keep using a USB-C cable to use the controller, so I'm glad that I now have this! The only issues I had were that this didn't come with any "official" packaging, and that Windows will *not* automatically recognize the device. I had to enter "Device Manager" and have Windows search for the correct drivers online, but once I did, the device worked perfectly. Would definitely recommend purchasing for anyone with an XBOX One controller!
Just can't change the color on the Xbox home button it seems to stay the same color as my controller when I don't have a profile selected in the Xbox Accessories app
Solved my controller connection issues and makes it so you can plug a headset right into the controller on pc.! Huge improvement over laggy Bluetooth connection
Plug and Play, took me longer to open the package than it took me to install. Im using Microsoft Windows 11 and I just plugged adapter in and ran windows update and it detected the adapter and automatically installed the drivers. After i just clicked the sync button on my controller and then on the adapter and it instantly connected and worked with my PC.
Just what I needed and fast delivery
Immediately recognized by PC. Works great with Xbox controllers for couch gaming on Bazzite (Linux)
First photo is the item in question, the 2nd photo is a legitimate dongle from Microsoft back when they used to sell them. It's close, so close its annoying. If I didnt own two seperate authentic Microsoft wirless dongles I would have been fooled. The fact is says Microsoft and has an Xbox logo should be a pending lawsuit. Now regarding the dongle itself aside from the shady practices. Product does work, gets very hot. Much hotter then the REAL dongle. With as much heat is generated, itll probably last 6 months at best. Overpriced scam, buy them on ebay. You can still get the authentic product for a little cheaper actually.
This listing is for a fake, plain and simple. This has been out of production for a while now by Xbox, and the market is flooded with counterfeits and knock offs. I ordered 3 of these from different sites. One I received was brand new in the Microsoft Xbox sealed box with matching SN. The one from walmart came in a tiny cheap bag with fake markings on it. Furthermore, the one that came from Xbox had 2 physical differences compared to the fake from Walmart. The button on the dongle has 3 lines on it. Putting the real and fake side by side you can see the lines go opposite directions when they should both face the same way. There is also a LED light on the dongle. The factory Xbox dongle has a small white spot where you can tell an LED light is whether plugged in or not (this is also visible on the factory box and why fakes are listed without authentic pics). The fake has no LED spot when unplugged and you can't see a white dot where one should be (you can only see it when plugged in). It is worth mentioning that the real and fake both have near identical SN and Microsoft markings on the Dongle itself and look factory new. HOWEVER, the fake does NOT come with a box to verify the SN as being brand new from Xbox. They can simply use an authentic SN on all the fakes so even if you look it up it may seem legit. I did my research on these little things and this my answer. Find a real one on ebay for 20$ and free shipping like I did! :D Have a nice day wally world!
This is not an official microsoft adapter they are selling counterfeits of this product. buyer beware.
It never even showed up to my house or mail it went back to the returner
