NOW Ultra Omega-3 is an excellent product at a great price. Even though the pill might be large for some consumers, at 750 DHA/EPA per pill, you only need to take 1-3 pills to meet your optimal serving each day. Unlike other fish oil supplements (pills and liquid), NOW Ultra Omega-3 doesn't dissolve on your tongue before you can swallow it and does not give you disgusting fish burps.

IT DOES NOT LEAVE A FISHY ODOR AFTER USE. BOVINE GELATIN USED IS AN ASSET FOR THOSE WHO DONOT USE PORK..

Heart health, brain function, all of that and I've heard great things about omega 3s in general. They don't have that gross fishy aftertaste and they're pretty gentle on the stomach, which is a big plus compared to others I've tried. BUT the pills are HUGE. No joke massive! Every time I go to take one I have to mentally prepare myself. I'm not even being dramatic it actually stresses me out because I feel like I'm going to choke. Because of that, I haven't been able to stay consistent with taking them daily, which kind of defeats the purpose. If you're someone who has no problem swallowing big pills, you'll probably love these. But if you're like me and struggle with that, just be aware it's definitely a challenge that I am not willing to do daily. Overall, great quality product. I just wish they were smaller or easier to take because that's the only thing holding me back.

I do take omega 3 supplements and was excited to try... but I do t like the quality of the ingredients being anchovy fish oil... you also have to take 2 larger size pills daily. Im not a fan of the size and quantity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the size and the quality seems pretty impressive but as a Muslim I can't consume softgel since it contains gelatine and that might be derived from pork or cow.

I had been taking Krill oil capsules for years and decided to try fish oil instead to get a higher dose of omega 3 - so I went with the Now brand that I trust. Within a week or so of starting this product I had major reflux issues. Googled it and it seems to be common for many people when taking higher dose fish oil. I thought these would be gentler due to the enteric coating. No so for me. Going back to krill oil!
