As a Vegetarian who happens to be severely allergic to wool, lanolin, and wool wax alcohol (read those labels, kids!) I must take Vitamin D as Vitamin D2, ergocalciferol. The Now Brand is known to me as being a superior brand of vitamins and supplements. I was really pleased to find this product here on Jet dot com as it's getting more difficult to find plant-based Vitamin D from a reliable source. (Vitamin D3, the most common form found over-the-counter, is made from lanolin found in sheep and lambs wool. With the possibility of a severe allergic reaction from the lanolin, I cannot take this form of Vitamin D.) The capsules are plant-based cellulose so this product is suitable for Vegans and states that on the label. This is the perfect Vitamin D2 for me and the fact that Jet dot com stocks it is a real plus! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great to find a vegan high dose vitamin D capsule. Good value for money too. When I swallow one with water, they are quite light & float in your mouth, so a little difficult to take.
