[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge fan of this mexican rice! Absolutely perfect when you're on the go and need a quick lunch. Or, it's great for a quick side for a meal! Not to mention, it's great with tacos/burritos! Will definitely continue to get this rice with my bi-weekly grocery list! Saves time, and tastes great! Can't beat the price either!

Ingredients on line does NOT say biogineered food Ingredients. Thats the only reason i purchased. BUT it has bioengineered food ingredients. Won't by again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice to put in the microwave and be ready super fast is very practical if you have a very busy life or if you just want something fast on the table, it has a lot of flavor, I would buy this product to have something practical and accompany a meal. Rich flavor and good quantity.

I found it so dry I couldn't unclump the rice and also very dry. I added salsa to get more moisture to it. The taste and texture and not up to Old El Paso standards. Also much more expensive than other options that have better texture.

Was disappointed in the texture and taste of this product. The instructions essentially asked you to kind of break up the rise in the pouch then you cut open the top and you microwave it for one minute one minute is delete was disappointed in the texture and taste of this product. One minute is not nearly enough time to even heat the rice up much less break up it's gritty texture. If you already own this or you buy hit by mistake, I would recommend cooking it in a sauce pan and adding some chicken broth to it to ease up the texture what a disappointment.

The rice would not loosen up. I heard as directed and it stayed hard and stuck together. I tried adding butter to loosen it and it just all stuck together. My son liked the taste, I found it bland, but I couldn't get past the texture.

Save your money!!!! I could not get past the smell. My grandson said that it was very hot with spices! No one in my house cared for the rice. It went into the trash.

It smelled nasty when I opened it (that should've given a clue) and it tasted awful! Normally, we love all rice no matter how it's cooked but this was just awful. My son said “well, you did get rice in a bag mom, no wonder it's bad.” 😂 Threw it away, wasted my money 😔

This is gross. It smells weird and the rice was hard in the package. I had to really fluff up the rice to get it to separate. I did try 3 bites thinking it was just the smell turning me off from it. I refuse to eat this going forward. I won't repurchase.

This was the most disgusting Mexican rice I've ever tasted in my life. You know how a Band-Aid smells that's how it tasted. Don't buy it you'll think because it's old El Paso. It'll be good, but it's disgusting.
