Absolutely love these. Um, they're very good with your tacos or your burritos. It's very good Side Dish for those meals so yeah I would buy them again and they're definitely very tasty. Thank you.

My husband and I really like putting this on or in our tacos/taco salad. but we quit buying it because it's just the 2 of us so over half of it goes to waste. we've looked everywhere and can't find a smaller can

I've used these Traditional Refried Beans for years and years---I've (we've) tried every brand of Old El Paso Refried beans and the only two we didn't like were spicy (husband!) and vegetarian-too thin.I have never had a problem cooking with or using these beans to prepare tacos or dips.I made tacos (meat filling) in preparation for the May 5th holiday. Anything for a proper 'excuse' to make homemade guacamole and tacos with all the delicious,fresh fixings.I buy and use the Old El Paso seasonings also. I always keep a couple cans (beans) in my pantry and I buy the seasonings every month. Happy Cinco de Mayo from just another Swede/ Pole 'mutt!' Thanks!

This is a good amount of very good beans. Will be breaking wind for the rest of eternity. The mixture is a little on the creamier side, but does have some full beans thrown in there to satisfy your texture needs. The texture makes it perfect for burritos, it's malleable enough to roll the tortilla nice and tight.

These refried beans have a really great flavor and texture. I like to add a little bit of milk when I heat these to make them a little more on the creamy side.

These aren't nearly as good as I remember them being. I typically just buy GV for the value, but decided to go back to Old El Paso because I needed a larger size for my meal. I'm not sure what they've done to the recipe/formula now, but they are very thin consistency and almost no flavor at all, they were overall rather unenjoyable. I'll be sticking to GV.

I've noticed ALL the 2024 reviews are similar in describing how bad this product has become. I had a few cans on my list but decided to check the reviews since the price was the highest of all the beans. Apparently not only are the refried beans as bad as the others (or now worse) the price is still the highest on entire listing for this product. That's an extra mark against buying them. I'll try other brands looking for my new substitute. its obvious you're "kitchen team" has done nothing or the apology reply is just for the consumer and not the ppl in the kitchen!
