Perky-Pet Plastic Vine Oriole Feeder, Orange - 27 oz Capacity

I get birds at my feeder every few minutes so I have gotten quite particular about the feeders I will use- I have followed the birds actions and found the birds don't prefer many and will stop visiting. My other perky pet feeder is always preferred , even so over my more expensive and fancy glass ones. so I figure I would try this one- the fact that it has a perch for the birds to sit is a plus and seems to attract more birds than the perky pet feeder without the perch- it seems they almost fight over who gets the perch. Its also a nice feature that it has the ant moat at the top. I cant say rather it attracts orioles or not since they don't visit my area.

I really like this feeder. It attracts lots of humming birds. It is bright orange with just the right size perches. The materials seem strong and will last for many seasons. Easy to fill and hang. Would buy this for myself and to give as gifts.

today we finally got a little warmer of a weather. so we went outside and walked around a little. finally saw this hummingbird coming around the feeder over and over and go really good pictures. i had an old feeder that was ready to be replaced and i could not be happier with this new one i got. colors are bright and this one is better than my old one coz it has this pretend branches where the birds could rest on. i even shot a video coz my son and i were so entertained. i would have uploaded the video if i could just to share this simple and cute wonder of nature.

A FEW YEARS AGO I HAD PURCHASED A FANCY HUMMINGBIRD FEEDER AND THE ONLY THING THAT ONE ATTRACTED WERE WASPS. SO I DITCHED IT. I GOT THIS ONE THE OTHER DAY AND MADE MY OWN FOOD FOR THE WEE BIRDS AND YESTERDAY I GOT A HIT. ONLY ONE, BUT THAT SEEMS PROMISING. WHEN I FILLED IT UP I HAD AN ISSUE PUTTING THE BOTTOM ON IT BUT I FIGURED IT OUT. IT IS IN 2 PIECES SO YOU HAVE TO HOLD THAT TOGETHER WHILE TURNING THE BOTTLE TO CONNECT THE 3 PIECES TOGETHER SO IT IS A SNUG FIT AND ALL LINED UP. VERY GOOD CONSTRUCTION IN MY BOOK. WORTH PURCHASING.

I really like the design! It's easy to fill! I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reasonable hummingbird feeder! I like the ant moat! I also like how study the branches are for the birds! This is my first feeder so hopefully the humming birds love it as much as I do! Seems very high quality made also!

Like that this feeder can be used for Orioles and Hummingbirds. It looks nice and is larger than most hummingbird feeders. I like the double liquid container seal. Perches are nice for orioles, however I'm not sure how long the plastic will hold up outside in the heat, though not a problem for hummingbirds. I'm going to buy another for my Mom.

I hung this oriole feeder in a secluded corner of the yard... they found it within minutes. I like that it's large enough that I won't be worried about it being empty every day. The only drawback is that the nectar container isn't glass. If the orioles are happy, I'm happy!

This Hummingbird feeder is nicely designed and its cute. The feeder area is shatterproof and it claims to keep ants away. It comes with a small chrome hook, you will find in taped to the underneath of the top lid. Its a little brighter than the color looks in my photo. The hole to pour the feed in is little smaller than I would like so you will need a funnel or a very steady hand. I will be interested to see if my humming birds actually use the branches to rest on, most of my hover over the older ones in the yard.

I like the color and design of this feeder. The quality is midrange. It's put together nicely by screwing the different pieces with. There is a "moat" to keep ants from getting to the nectar. It's a little tricky if you put water in the moat before hanging it, haha. The fold out branches are cute even if a bit delicate. I am not thrilled with the small hook included to hang it with. Of course you can choose your own extension piece to use with it. I used homemade sugar water, which was easy to make. Someone in my home did see an Oriole using the feeder, but I haven't seen it myself. I think the feeder is a good size for holding nectar as well as being easy to clean. I'm excited about seeing birds use it.

I am writing a review on the Perky-Pet Plastic Vine Oriole Woodstream Hummingbird feeder. It's been hanging in our tree around two weeks. It was very easy to put up. Just add some hummingbird nectar and little water (keeps ants away) it shows you in instructions where to place water,pull the branches down and it's ready to hang. It even comes with a hook which I thought was nice. As for bird activity I have not seen very much at all but I think it's because of the cooler days we're still having if it were warmer weather I believe there would be more. This hummingbird feeder is Super easy to prepare to put up. It's Very attractive, Simple but super cute. It's durable already lasted through two storms. I would Recommend this Hummingbird feeder for anyone who is at home a lot And enjoys watching birds especially with children it's a great conversation starter and learning tool.
