Redmon 65 Gallon Black Plastic Compost Bin with Air Vents

Nice size and sturdy for the price. We ended up putting chicken wire on the bottom and up the side because animals dug a hole to get in since there's no bottom.

This is the third we've bought as a tree fell on one and we wanted one near our garden. We leave the top off for easy access and so the rain can get in. The compost is a little difficult to remove from the bottom, but the composter works great. We put ours on pavers or stepping stones to make it easier to shovel the compost and to keeps roots from growing through. We just "let it rot"; don't turn, water, or feed and this is just what we need.

since it is a compost bin it will take time regards to desirability, will it hold up to use? other wise it arrived on time, easy set up, its in the back yard composting kitty litter!

This unit is a great size for a single family. Assembly was quick and easy. I was able to start using it the day I received and assembled it. Seems like a good product for the price. The lid snaps on tight which is good. If I could change one thing it would be that the lid lifted up but remained attached. But it works well as it is.

The bin was shipped quickly. It was easy to assemble. It appeared better made than others in the same price range.

It was easy to assemble, but I wish it had some holes on the top to let on rain water. I either have to leave the lid off when expecting rain or “water” my compost. I'll just have to see if holds up as well as the ones I left behind when I moved— 13 years and still going strong.

Easy to assemble. Grounding stakes are a little small, but do appear to be holding. I've had mine for less than a month and haven't had much time to compost much, but with the air flow it seems that everything will go as planned. Good starter for small yards.

It does the job somewhat but is very very lightweight, so we had to put additional pavers around to stop animals from getting in at night, it is very easy to move and to dig under. Will haver to live with it as already spent money but generally do not recommend.

!. the plastic is thin so not sure how long it will last in the hot sun 2.the screws are plastic but the nuts are metal (the composter I am replacing fell apart %26 it also had plastic screws %26 thin walls ) 3.one of the 4 slide up doors keeps opening %26 its less than 1/2 full 4.the air hole are too BIG !!!! my bin is full of flys and all sorts of bugs !!!! Gross !!! (only non food items are in this bin due ) So disappointed in the quality of this compost bin !!!! I would love to return it but its 1/2 full of leaves %26 grass clippings

i would not recommend this product. it arrived missing pieces and does not seem to be made of durable material suited its purpose
