Richard Simmons: Sweatin' to the Oldies 5 [DVD]

You know what to expect from icon Richard Simmons-fun!-fun!-fun while melting the pounds away. The dvd is less than an hour long & there is no floor work. There are several examples in the group that show how to lessen the impact to those who are either new or incapacitated in some degree. The songs from the 50s & 60s are familiar & fun to dance to while you sing along. The clothing is dated, but the workout is simple and effective. Even kids can join in with their parents or grandparents!

I think Richard Simmons is great and while I am a lot older than the adults shown, it wasn't too hard to follow. I still like his original -- more my speed -- but I have an old VHS version and would love to have a CD of this program but refuse to pay a high price for the CD. I would highly recommend Richard Simmons: Sweatin to the Oldies: Volume 5.

What's not to like about Richard Simmons videos. In this one he still gives you an excellent cardio but when you look at his knee alignment on his one leg you can see he must have pain and that is probably why he had to stop going public with his messages and withdrew. You'd never know he had discomfort by his energy level here. I always thought he did a wonderful and enthusiastic job with his message of healthful exercise. Thank you Richard.

Easy workout for older persons

I'm a beginner and can't keep up yet but at least I'm moving!

bad copy, not clear. not one of his better tapes. Ad was misleading, it said 5 routines, not routine number 5

I'm aware that people like his dance videos but this just didn't work for me. I prefer Denise Austin's dance workout videos.
