Sauder Palladia Contemporary L-Shape Computer Desk, Select Cherry Finish

Using in a home office. Provides plenty of desktop space. Drawers have a smooth action. 5-star reco on the product. Sauder's recommended assembly service was poor. Required additional parts that were broken during install. Replacement parts showed up quickly from Sauder. One month later the assembly crew cannot find time to come back and finish the job. One star for the assembly company.

You'll need patience and 2 days to put this together! That being said it's a good value and looks great! It's big so make sure you measure your space. Some of the direction are not clear( we thought we were missing some pieces but we were not). I would recommend, just trust the process, the end result will be beautiful!

I like the color/finish coordination with the bookcase and file cabinets. Would have preferred 3 drawers on right side in lieu of very shallow drawer and door. Be prepared to spend all day assembling. At least one removable divider in drawers would have been helpful.

I'm disappointed that I cannot buy a second keyboard drawer. It will not change the integrity and stability of the desk. It is designed to accept the keyboard drawer on either the right or left side. Since I decided to install it on the left side, I would like to add an extra keyboard drawer for the right side, if its still possible.

Overall great product - however some issues with assembly 1./ A few knicks and scratches upon unpacking 2./ Instruction booklet - page 39-66 repeats the beginning instructions - very aggravating to find "next steps" and (extreme waste of paper) 3./ Part B - preassembled brackets where in the wrong holes - had to remove and adjust after assembly was done. Because drawers where not shutting correctly.

It's just what I wanted & needed however in putting it together it did not have enough screws to complete the set up.

If you follow the directions it will go smoothly. Only one piece out of what seemed Hundreds was bad and sauder was great abt replacing it. Actually had extra screws/ bolts at end. Will take a lot of time but looks good and was as advertised

The middle keyboard drawer keeps falling out of the track. It just randomly falls, even when not in use. I don't know if the holes aren't lined up, or what.

We really wanted to love this desk for the price. But it came with terrible directions and a lot of the pieces were not correctly marked. took us 2 days to assemble. There is a chip out of the back of the wood. Thank God it's against the wall or someone would get hurt. Would not advise purchasing!

Desk came damaged due to mfg. Parts were broken, not made correctly. Fex Ed wouldnt deliver to my door. Very heavy. Needs to 2 people to move it and install it. Now it is sitting at Fed Ex for almost 2 weeks because after picking desk up, they claim they cannot deliver damaged items. Made many calls to Walmart, Fed Ex and getting nowhere. Walmart claims they will refund my credit company since it shows Fed Ex picked it up. Now waiting and watching for that to happen.
