Sauder Select Computer Desk, Brushed Maple Finish

Desk is lovely and the quality is great. I had one problem. It came with a bad dent in the top. It was actually where it had been dropped in transit . I called Sauder company right away and was treated very well. They were extremely nice and within 3 days of calling on Thursday, I was shipped a new top from Ohio. I am so glad I ordered from this company. They have the best customer service department I have ever dealt with. It was almost a joy talking with the lady there.

I bought this desk online without ever seeing it in person. It was much larger than I expected but fits very nice. The color is great. As far as getting it into my house, be warned it is approx 170# so I had to drag it into my house after the ups guy delivered it. Putting it together: There are quiet a few pieces but overall it went together well. The only trouble I had was with the door hinges on the left side of the desk. I kept reading the directions to try and figure out how to not crack the wood with the tension and still ended up cracking around one of the screw sites Total time to put it together was about 2.5 to 3 hours

This desk is replacing another Sauder computer desk I had for 30 years. I'm still sold on the brand. This desk has two features I was really looking for--size and a keyboard tray. At approximately 24" x 60", it equals the desk space I had before. This is plenty of room for two monitors, a lamp, and space to work. An improvement is a longer keyboard tray, one that is long enough for my keyboard and a mouse. This means I have the mouse within easier reach than on the desktop, and I get a lot of working space for papers, devices, etc. I like that it still keeps a file drawer and a desk drawer. How do people have desks without any storage??? The two drawbacks really can't be helped--the weight and the assembly. It took me around 6 hours to assemble, including the many trips up and down the stairs to bring the pieces up in small batches, since carrying a 120 lb. box up the stairs by myself wasn't going to happen. Everything was well labeled, though, and the pieces all fit together without having to force anything. It's a really nice, big desk at a price--saying yes to this was a no-brainer.

This desk is SOLID! It's quite heavy, so save your back by unpacking it by the door it came in and carry a few pieces at a time. I love it. Surprisingly, even though it is a darker wood, it does not show dust that much. Plenty of room in the pull out drawers. Shipping was fast also.

Love desk. Assembly is a bit of a chore (2 ppl took 4.5 hours) but result is worth it. Great size & functionality. It replaces 30 yo Sauder desk, so I expect this one to be long lasting too.

Excellent quality desk. Fairly easy to assemble. Plenty of desktop room and drawer space for a smaller office area. It took my husband and I about an hour to fully assemble.

Would have been a 5 star except that the color is much darker than we expected. Assembly was difficult but manageable. Overall a great desk.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this product. Took an extra 5 days for me to receive through shipping and I'd say that and one of the brakets that the big drawer used to slide in and out of the desk was a wrong part. I was given two right sided brackets to go at the bottom of the drawer instead of one right and one left so the drawer wont slide in and out. I messaged someone at walmart but havent received a reply.

We received the desk with 2 damaged pieces. We called the Sauder customer service number on the instructions and they mailed us replacement parts within a week. They were very polite and attentive. It looks nice put together. The drawer holes did not align properly but it still works. Great Customer service saved the day!
