I'm really impressed with my new Shark Air Purifier. It was simple to set up, wonderfully quiet, and my air quality went straight to the highest level — a big help with my allergies and my big Romeo Tom Cat. I love that it looks nice, fits anywhere I put it, and the lights aren't too bright at night. The airflow is strong and steady. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've owned quite a few air purifiers over the years, but the Shark NeverChange Air Purifier has honestly exceeded my expectations. We originally bought it to help with dust, dander, and overall air quality in the house, and within the first few days we noticed a huge difference. The air genuinely feels cleaner and fresher, especially in bedrooms and common areas where dust tends to build up quickly. One of my favorite features is how quiet it is. Even on higher settings, it's not disruptive, and on sleep mode it's barely noticeable at night. The built in air quality monitor is also surprisingly accurate, you can actually watch it react when cooking, vacuuming, lighting an incense/candle or even spraying products in the house. It adjusts automatically and clears the air fast. The “NeverChange” filter system is what really sold me. Not having to constantly replace expensive filters is such a game changer and makes it feel more cost effective long term compared to other brands we've tried. I have other air purifiers that require monthly filter change that's only available online. It's low maintenance, sleek looking, and doesn't stick out like a bulky appliance. As someone with kids and a busy household, I appreciate products that quietly do their job well without needing constant attention, and this has absolutely become one of those appliances for us. Highly recommend if you're looking for something effective, easy to maintain, and worth the investment. My kids have allergy induced asthma and this has helped a lot especially living in the desert full of dust and dirt!

I owned several items from Shark, none has disappointed. I have it in our bedroom, it works very well, however in the highest setting is slightly loud, not a deal breaker. I would buy it again. I really like the feature not having to put a new filter every 6 months, instead Shark states each 5 years

It works like a dream. It is very quiet,and my house stays a lot cleaner, not much dust. Love it . I wish I had bought sooner. My allergies are better too.

Works much better than I could have imagined and I have done hours of research to find the best air purifier for my scenario. It is super simple to setup, easy to run every day, easy to clean the pre-filters, and the replacement filters are reasonably priced and available even at the local store. It does a great job at removing odors from the air daily, but it also does a really good job of removing odors from the air really quickly after cooking. I like that it has the option to see what percentage your air quality is to so I can see if I need to run it more to improve my quality or if I can turn it down some to power save. I have noticed really quickly that my house is a lot less dusty. I can dust a lot less often than before. I will say that I run the filter in the back of the house on high during the day when I am not in that end of the house, and turn it down at night when I go to sleep, and turn the one in the living end of the house down during the day and back up to high at night when I go to bed.

Obsessed. Went from a febreeze one to the shark. Best decision. I have it in the living room. Keeps the air much cleaner. I don't have to replace the filters. Just wipe or wash, dry fully before putting back. Will be saving up to purchase the bigger size and moving this one to the bedroom

After initial setup I started the unit and it read 63 which shocked me. About 2 hours later I was at 100 and I was having problems with watery eyes while I was in my apartment but now that problem is gone. This is an excellent air purifier. Just set it and forget it! I'm very happy I bought it.

The Shark Air Purifier with True HEPA filter is much better at cleaning the air than this NeverChange Air purifier. It doesn't pick up on air quality as good as the True HEPA version, the air doesn't fill as clean, and for the price of the NeverChange compared to the True HEPA version if clean half the amount of air. I would strongly suggest getting the version that you have to change the filter on. While it seems like you're saving money by getting an air purifier that you don't have to replace the filter on. You're really loosing a lot of the benefits from having an actual filter that can catch air particles and truly purify the air.

I used the Shark NeverChange 500 (HP150) air purifier in a 180 sq ft room, and my experience was disappointing. The air quality sensor seems unreliable — it reacts when I open a window with clean, cold air, but completely ignores obvious allergens like pollen from flowering trees. Because of that, the automatic functionality feels pointless. Even with windows closed, it constantly shows 100% air quality and barely runs, which doesn't inspire confidence that it's actually detecting anything meaningful. Another issue is noise. After about 3 weeks of use, the unit became noticeably louder, despite the pre-filter being clean and no changes in usage. This makes the “low maintenance” and “long-lasting filter” claims questionable. Overall, the concept is good, but the execution falls short. I returned it and wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for reliable air quality detection or consistent quiet performance.

Like any motor that runs it picks up dust from the air. There is no less dust noticed in the room or house and no difference noticed in air quality or in cooking scents when we do cook. It did not live up to the ads and I think a less expensive one would wirk as well.
