I think Snow's Clams are the best on the market for retail purchase. They can be the base for chowder, pasta sauce, pizza and simple baked clam sandwiches. I have never found them not to be firm-ish, rich in flavor and generous portioned. A great buy for the clam lover who can't get fresh clams.

These are 105 quarts bins ! They are excellent for storing for storing anything from tools , can food items , boxes of cookies donuts and bed linens and comforters and pillows and towels clothes shoes and so forth ! They have 2 handles that clip on so the lids cannot pop off ! I have bought over 30 of them over the years in different sizes ! I highly recommend Starlite Bins ! They are clear with 2 dark blue clip on handles on the lids so you don't have to remove the lids to see what's inside therefore saving the time to put labels on these really great bins ! Like to make pasta with clam sauce once in a while. It is a splurge I make about once a year. Not living anywhere near where fresh clams are harvested, canned is the only option. Can they compare with fresh, no. But, a bit more garlic, sprinkle a bit more grated cheese and it is a workable meal that brings back memories of the first time I ever had white clam sauce at a fresh seafood establishment on a road trip decades ago. These are better quality than other brands. Somewhat more expensive, but, within reach. Never use canned clams for anything else, though I am sure there are many possible preparations.

Some of the clam chunks were large and unchewable - long time chew meat. The clam juice was fine - nothing special. I now realize I prefer another brand.

I ordered 4 cans of minced clams and they were going to substitute them with chopped clams. I agreed to that. I ended up with 1 can that was so dented it was leaking. No common sense ! Why would you even sell that to someone? Shoppers need to ask themselves if they would purchase an item like that for themselves and their own families. Very frustrating

Buy only if you can afford to splurge on very expensive clam juice with a few chunks of clam. The photo below shows what was left in the can after draining. It was less than half full!

I ordered 2 cans of Snows Chopped Clams. You furnished 1 can as ordered and 1 can of Minced Clams which I did not order. Also, the can of Minced Clams is dented.

I bought this last month best by date is December 2026 I just opened it and discovered large pieces of what looks and feels like parchment paper mixed with the crabmeat!

It's been a long time since I've purchased canned clams. It used to be when you opened the can and drained it there would be clams nearly to the top of the can. I ordered 6 cans and so far, I'm 0 for 2, with 4 to go. Drained weight of the clams is approx 1oz. The can is not even close to 1/4 clams by volume...about 3-4 Tbsp, loose. Are the standards that low now, or did somebody screw-up the settings on a machine at the plant? Quality control went right out the window. I won't order these again...I probably won't order anything from Snows/Bumble Bee again. I'm not fond of gambling when the odds are stacked against me. I've never seen nearly empty cans with any other canned goods before.
