Pre Covid, Vit C with Zinc was easy to find... Spring Valley seems to be one of the few these days as big box stores suppliers swept it off the shelves switching to two supplements C and Zinc rather than combined. So 5 stars on the rating.
Boy is it tart! Its enough to make you pucker. BUT when 2 of my family members got sick, the only 2 who were taking this daily didn't get it, which is awesome because we usually all get taken down together. My kids hate the taste, but I struggle through. Its a small price to pay for not barfing or wheezing for a week, ya know?
super fast dissolve tablets taste good, very sour for those that don't like that, but work great
The Spring Valley Fast Dissolve Zinc with Vitamin C is an easy to chew tablet. I found the taste to be good and not leaving a weird taste in my mouth. The tablets are on the smaller side so suitable for the elderly too. It has a good amount of zinc and vitamin C so completes any supplemental requirements of those minerals.
I'm not sure why there are bad reviews that this is extremely sour. They must not ever had an orange in their life. This is not sour at all, actually is was quite pleasant chewing something sweet, rather than swallowing a horse pill. Some people just need to learn balance!
The Spring Valley Fast Dissolve Zinc with Vitamin C, Chewable Tablets, Orange, 150 Count taste terrific, kind of like a super tart candy, which I love. They are quite sweet as well and the ingredients reflect that (sorbitol and maltodextrin powder). Seems like every supplement I take these days is in gummy form, so these were actually a nice change. These are only for adults, so I was surprised at how easy to open these are. There was just a little plastic seal with an easy to twist off lid and inside there was a peel off seal. After some research, I am not sure that 50mg of zinc is right for me, but if it is what your doctor recommends, I'd highly recommend this brand. There is a quality guarantee, plus it is made without: gluten, milk, soy, artificial colors or flavors, lactose, or talc.
The Spring Valley Fast Dissolve Zinc with Vitamin C, Chewable Tablets, Orange, 150 Count are so useful. I have been taking for about a month and have not suffered from the weather change sickness. They dissolve pretty quick. They taste great, exactly like orange flavor.
I've been taking this supplement for 3 weeks now and I can definitely tell a difference. My grandsons both came home from school with some nasty cold-like illness and for once, I DID NOT catch it! I KNOW that Zinc is great for your immune system and vitamin C is always a plus to your health. I will definitely be taking these supplements from now on! I am SOLD!
I like this item, but it does taste a little bitter.
