I must say that this is a worth every penny. Most AC1750 can run for more, but this one was just the right price and well worth it. Since I have upgraded to this one I have had a better connection. It was very easy to set up. Love the features it has...I would recommend this product to anyone who has more than 6 items connected to the network.
So far I'm experiencing better range with increased rate. The lower Mhz seems to be faster for my devices than the higher frequency. I do like the ability to swap though. Great piece so far.
This thing rocks, easy setup, great range, and even 4 LAN ports to keep my wired connections rolling. No complaints whatsoever. Replaced an old Dlink Gamerlounge wired router.
Its really easy to setup if you know what your doing if not theres a cd included. Fast and so far has been reliable
Very easy to set up, very strong signal, compared the price with others, I think it's amazing. I strongly recommend it!
I wasn't getting reception throughout the house especially upstairs. This expanded the range exactly what I needed.
Had this up and running in less than 10 minutes. Wow, things have certainly progressed since my last router setup. Once I reset the wifi name and password all my various wifi devices synced right up and took off. I did speed tests before and after connecting this router and the results were phenomenal. My wire speed is up 4x (mainly because my old router was not a gigabit router), but my wifi speed also jumped 6x (using my phone wifi to test speed). So right now I'm very pleased with this router and pretty happy I didn't splurge for anything more expensive - I don't see myself needing more speed right now. Full disclosure, my old router was 8+ years old but still functioned well - I just wasn't getting the speed I was paying for from Comcast. Also - I did my setup via the web browser, the reviews of the TP-Link phone app didn't seem very complimentary so I didn't bother.
This is the best router I ever purchased. It has strong signal and great coverage. In my house with 3000 square feet space, I have no problem with this router's coverage. I used to have a wireless bridge to extend the coverage, but now I only need one router for the whole house. $100 for an AC1750 router, it has the best value. Got to love it. Easy to configure. Haven't found any custom firmware for it yet. And its remote management interface doesn't support https, so I won't recommend to enable it. It is a great router. Highly recommend it.
We bought this router because our old one kept dropping off the internet. We have a medium size house, and multiple devices; TV, 2 laptops, a tablet and 2 phones. We upgraded to the C7 TP- Link because of all the good reviews it had. It was pretty easy to set up also. One thing is that it's pretty good sized, I mean it's not huge but it's bigger than any others we've had. It sits flat, you can't stand it on its side like some of the others. A little pricey, but overall it was worth it to end the aggravation of losing our connection. Have had it a little over a month and so far no issues. I am happy with it. I tried to upload a picture but there was an issue with the photo uploader.
First off, I will far less of these reviews because I hate having to login to get to a review, and 2FA sucks. The device did not have ability to repeat an existing wifi signal. It could only be hardwired.
