What I didn’t care about was that it wasn’t like the containers I used to buy. Those were fresher and would pour out of the can. It made it easier to get the contents out of the container. I feel that even though the purchase I made was within the Best Used By dates it was a consistancy of a can that was out of date. It would not pour out of the can. I had to scrap the condensed milk out of the can.

I have used Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk for more than 40 years now! Hello Dolly (aka Magic Cookie Bars), lemon meringue pie, Cherry-o Cheese pie, quick homemade vanilla ice cream! Yes, indeed! I have nothing negative to say about my Eagle Brand! I still have my copy of The Dessert Lovers' Hand-Book from the 1980s that was free during that time mailed to consumers who requested it from Borden. This is such a joy to still have and is a wonderful keep-sake.

Perfect for making a frozen treat, likea quick ice cream, half a can of this and a pint of heavy cream whipped together for several minutes, then add fruit, nuts, or whatever and freeze for 6 hours and its a perfect treat.... I did it with Great Value cocktail cherries and Wonderful brand honey roasted pistachios and YUM

if you want to use in baked goods this is the best I've ever used some things you just don't buy a cheaper brand which im sure works just as well as Iv used the store brands etc and was very good to but Eagle Brand will turn your useing it for will be delicious and gone. Iv made 2 cake pans of magic bars in the last week and for 3 adults have enjoyed greatly you

Bordens sweetened condensed milk is absolutely delicious. It is used in making desserts, of course but I use it as cream for my coffee. I have bought another brand once. I came back to Bordens because of the can. Pick it up by the middle of the can . It does not squeeze in. The other brand did. Reason, the lesser brand saved money using less metal and thereby making it slightly less safe for transit.

Honestly, it's condensed milk and they all taste the same. I purchased this one because the store brand was out of stock. I really couldn't taste a difference.

Excellent brand of Sweetened Condensed milk from a company with very reputable reputation. The color, smell and consistency make it an excellent choice for that special dessert! Easy to open, easy to use.

I've used Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk for nearly a half century to make an authentic Keylime pie, now also Mango Keylime pie. I've tried others but the quality is unsurpassed will Eagle Brand. These two pies, are what I am know for.

I opened the can up and began to pour it onto my graham crackers and it was a very dark almost brown color. Not the typical white. I was starting to do a refund and they wanted me to return it, which it was in the garbage. I usually love this brand and the other can was fine. So do I recommend it, I put no but yes it usually is great.
