I have been taking Quercetin since January 1st, 2020. It was recommended to me by mymother who has a degree in alternative medicines. (Yes that is a real thing). She was also an RN for 40 years and has her master's degree in nursing. It is kind of hard to evaluate a product such as a supplement, however I can tell you that since the beginning of this year I have been exposed to many people with the dreaded CV virus. I have not missed one day of work or been sick or even had a sniffle ever since. I will continue to use this product, and never submit to taking any vaccines.
I have been looking for a supplement like this Vitamatic Quercetin, Olive Leaf Extract, and Bioperene. All of the ingredients in this supplement are beneficial for a lot of the things I deal with. All three of these ingredients help boost immunity. The Quercetin is a flavonoid found in plants. It is an antioxidant that also helps fight inflammation as well as allergies. The Olive Leaf Extract helps protect the digestive and central nervous systems. It helps reduce pain. It too is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. The Bioperine is a black pepper extract. It mainly helps you absorb nutrients more effectively. It can also increase metabolism. It can help with after workout pain. It is supposed to help with cognitive function and can also increase serotonin and dopamine production. It can also reduce fasting blood sugar levels. The only thing is you have to be careful with certain medications and the Bioperene. Just don't take it at the same time. I have only been taking the supplement for a short time, but I already feel like it's working. I'm already feeling some effects. A little more energy. A little less pain. My mind seems to be clearer. Trust me, ANYTHING in that direction is a HUGE improvement. So here's to hoping this Vitamatic Quercetin, Olive Leaf Extract, and Bioperene keeps improving the way I feel.
This Quercetin supplement is derived from the leaves of the Olive Tree and lists many beneficial properties. The capsules are easy to swallow, and contain Bioperine [from black pepper] to enhance the absorption. I've been taking two capsules per day as suggested. They have been easy on my stomach, and I look forward to its benefits over time.
My doctor strongly recommended many times over the past two years that I start eating the foods on the Mediterranean diet, due to my cholesterol numbers. Since I don't eat fish or olives, and I am not fond of most leafy veggies, I was glad that this supplement has 500 mg of olive leaf extract. It is recommended that you take two hours before or after taking other meds, and to take it with food. I take it about four hours after morning meds, and five hours before bedtime meds, and have not noticed any interactions with my other meds. I am now looking forward to having lab work done this fall, to see how much this will have lowered my cholesterol levels.
The bottle is double sealed for tamper-proof protection. It has a plastic shrink wrap band sealing the exterior of the cap. It also has a foam/foil seal over the neck of the bottle inside the cap. They are made in the USA! These capsules are easy to swallow and don't taste horrible. The potential health benefits from Olive Leaf Extract are substantial. I truly appreciate the double safety seal eliminating any chance of product tampering.
This review is written in exchange for a promotional product. Olive leaf extract is not the kind of herbal medicine that a person can take and tell a difference in 30 days. I can tell you, from personal experience, that olive leaf extract will lower your blood pressure and cholesterol. I read about using olive leaf extract on WebMD and had my husband try it. He's had moderately high blood pressure for a few years and high cholesterol for many years. He's unable to take any of the prescription medications for those because they caused horrific side effects. After taking olive leaf extract for 3 months, his blood pressure was normal. He's been using olive leaf extract for almost a year. He went for his yearly cholesterol check last fall and his cholesterol was perfectly normal. The doctor was amazed. No eating or lifestyle changes, just the olive leaf extract.
When I first saw this, I was interested. I have Gastroparesis, my body has a hard time absorbing vitamins. When I researched Quercetin, I found that is one of the things that this is good for. It's also good for the immune system, which is another medical issue that I struggle with. I've been taking it for one week now. I think it's too soon to really tell, but I do feel somewhat stronger and sturdier. It would be a God send if this is the thing that finally helps me.
I decided to get the Vitamatic Quercetin, Olive Leaf Extract to help my immune system to withstand the current pandemic without getting sick. As far as I know, it's working, but then I haven't come into contact with anyone who has it. The pills do have a funny taste and I burp up a weird smell after I take them but other than that, they are fine.
I have not been taking these pills very long so I cannot attest to their effectiveness yet. I can say they are average size capsules that are easy to swallow. By the time I finish this bottle I should see some effectiveness. Olive Leaf is supposed to be good for a lot of health issues. We'll see.
I received this in exchange for an honest review of it. I decided to get it because I like a challenge and writing a review on an herbal supplement seemed like a good challenge. I've consumed a full bottle in weeks. I can't tell any difference what so ever. Half way through I read what Olive Leaf Extract is supposed to do. What popped out was diabetes control and I have type 2 that I am trying to get under control. Initially, I saw my tested blood sugar levels drop by 20 points. While encouraging, I don't hold stock in this number drop. I'd already been on a downward trend. Still I was encouraged they were lower and staying lower. That was until this morning when my reading was shockingly large. I can't recommend this product on personal experience. I did not experience any feelings of improved health. Numbers from one person's experience don't hold much weight, in my opinion, no matter how good this product performed. I am not opposed to herbal supplements. I find St. John's Wurt to be very beneficial. I just feel better when I take it regularly. I feel worse when I stop. I've been taking it for years. I will nonetheless purchase another bottle after a week's hiatus to see what impact it has on my blood sugar readings.
