Nature Made Magnesium Oxide 250 mg Tablets, Dietary Supplement, 300 Count

I am 74, and have been taking Nature Made products for years. I go to my doctor for routing blood tests every three months. She tells me she wishes she had my heart and system. I attribute a lot of this to the Nature Made products I take daily, and have been taking daily for years. As an ex cop and firefighter, I did my body, and lungs, no favors in my careers. So everything helps, especially now at my age. It's Nature Made for me!

For me this is a great find. No sugar and smaller tablets make easy swallowing. I take 2-3 with each meal as it controls those awful leg cramps in the middle of the night. I used to suffer with severe leg and foot cramps that would get me up walking around at 2 or 3 in the morning. These are basic with meals. I checked with my doctor about taking 2000mg daily and he approved it. I have never taken more than that and that cramping is a thing of the past. This little bottle does the trick.

Excellent product. I've been taking this and other Nature Made supplements for years to offset my difficulty retaining minerals. This is one of the few with no soy, which my body can't tolerate.

Compared to other mid to low priced brands, I’ve experienced milder side effects and better effectiveness with Nature Made. I feel a definite difference if the magnesium is effective or not. I don’t need to take as much Nature Made as I do with other brands. It’s usually closer to the bottom than to the top of magnesium prices, and more effective. To me, that’s a bargain.

I use the oxide and not the other magnesium because it helps stop muscle cramping. Warning: I had to take a 1/2 tablet along with stool softener twice a day to prevent constipation! It doesn't tell you that on bottle but I guess you just have to learn. Otherwise it does stop my muscle cramping.

The older I got the more I kept getting finger cramps, toe cramps and deep muscle charlie horses in my legs and thighs. I told my doctor I had tried everything, researched it online, took potassium, and otc meds that said was for leg cramps. She said, well, I went to Dr. school and you should take 250mg. magnesium. At first I was disappoionted, the 1st month I seemed to have less but not a whole lot less. I stuck it out and by the end of the 2nd month I was cramp free! What a relief! It will be part of my daily routine fo the rest of my life.

This is the brand of Magnesium Oxide that I've been taking for years. I take one in the morning and one at night. I started taking it because I heard it helped with constipation but then I noticed that it got rid of my mild asthma symptoms caused by allergies at certain times of the year. So I continue to take them for that. Its a medium to big tablet, but its easy to swallow.

This magnesium 250 tablet has produced one of the most noticeable (vitamin) changes in my health - ever. I heard that magnesium could help with muscle cramping (like the nighttime calves) and similar symptoms. I bought these and started taking them immediately. (2-tablets for me). And in one day/night, I wasn’t hit with the cramping. Coincidence?? I don’t think so. It worked. I did try going without (the magnesium) for several days, and had another attack after about a 5 days. Went back to the daily. No problems. It worked again.

I was having leg cramps %26 my doctor told me according to my blood work that I was low on magnesium. She said to start taking magnesium supplements. I began taking these tablets %26 within 7 days my leg cramps stopped, I haven't had any since. So I am sold on this product. Thank you Walmart.

I imagine these do what magnesium is supposed to do. my problem is that I just can't swallow them. they're a little too big and who wants to go to all the extra efforts to cut them up, the next thing you know they're flying across the room, hitting your parakeet in the head and who knows what else may happened with flying magnesium
