Easy to install. dual connection speeds is great.
Bought to replace older Arris modem router that was dying. Arrived on time. Set up was easy. I had to contact Cox to activate the modem which took about half an hour. Has worked perfectly and I got at a reduced price.
This actually boosted my wifi signal. I had been renting the wifi modem from Grande Communications and recently found out I could purchase my own. So I did and when I hooked it up I ran a speed test and it was much faster. Plus I save myself $15 each month.
Like what I bought. I didn't do my research. Would have purchased the upgraded model.
Simple setup. Visibly faster than the rental modem. DOCSIS 3.0, so it should be compatible, supported and functional for at least a couple of years.
This unit replaces and older Arris surfboard that Comcast no longer supports. The old modem saved me close to $800 over the past 5 years (rather than renting from Comcast) and did not break, just started having issues with wifi connection after Comcast decided not to support older modems. This new unit is "mature", but, if Comcast supports it for another 5 years (it will pay for itself in less than 8 months) I will be a happy camper and a far better alternative than renting a modem from Comcast.
I didn't get it yet and I don't know if I am getting it.
Could not get it online and am returning it.
This looks like a fine product and a good value with combined modem and wireless. However, we could not get it to connect to Spectrum internet even with their tech on site for several hours. I had to rent Spectrum equipment which worked fine.
This thing is a piece of junk don't waster your money. It worked good for about two weeks long enough to miss my return window If you 5 feet from the modem it works like a champ and is perfect for streaming or gameplay.If you have multiple devices or are more than 10 feet away connected it is very spotty and drops connection multiple times during an hour time especially during normal busines day . Also set up is a pain had to call my provider and I work in IT and used to help set up remote workers consistently.so I have some experience. Switched back to nighthawk products.
