Every person has a different reason for taking the amino acid L-Carnitine. I take L-carnitine along with 250 mg of Ester C to help with brain and heart health and assist with my exercise performance. Been taking it for at least 3 years now. I do find along with a good, mostly plant-based diet ... with some meat, and I added some adaptogenic herbs ... all of it combined it works for this 60yr. Local walmart didn't carry L-carnitine anymore which was small quantity, no odor, but costly. I turned to online which was cheaper bulk rates but the Best Naturals have a fishy odor. I believe that is the way they are supposed to smell but I'm looking for something less noticeable.

Opened sealed bottle and tablets looked as if they had gotten wet. Found this very odd since I have purchased this product previously.

I really wanted to like this product as I have an ongoing subscription for another product. The smell of these is horrible and I developed heartburn from them. I know it was from this product because I switched to another brand and it went away. Really disappointed in the quality of this product.
