Such a good bargain and good rice.Long grain is healthier than short so I usually get this one when buying white rice.I make my own dog food with it too and its easy on her sensitive tummy.I alternate with brown rice.To much brown rice eaten every day can build up arsenic,so I need to change it up on occasion.We all love Blue Ribbon long grain white rice.

I saw this and was taken back to 1980s. I love Blue Ribbon rice! Great price for 5 pounds. Rinsed until the water was clear and It came out fluffy, singular grains, tender, perfection. Wonderful flavor without spices and butter, and with butter, woweeee! I love you, Blue Ribbon! Thanks for the great price, Walmart.

I go back and forth between blue ribbon and carolina rice. They're both great additions to any meal. You can't go wrong with rice as part of your meal.

A package seam had broken open on one of the 5 lb. bags of rice and there is probably about 3 cups of rice in the bottom of the shipping box. Too much trouble to return it, however.

I like short grain rice but they are more expensive for some reason. So I get blue ribbon extra long grain and mix with my favorite short grain. The cooked rice is almost as soft and overall better value for us.
