Bob's Red Mill Pancake & Waffle Mix, Buckwheat, 24 oz

I absolutely LOVE this mix, not only does it remind me of being at my grandparent's home, but it's also delicious as can be. In fact, I made them AGAIN this morning. I have made these every single weekend (both days) since receiving them. The buckwheat hull not being removed before grinding them into flour adds SO much more nutrition to this mix, the fiber is MUCH higher as well. Two things I am thankful for, actually what made me purchase this mix. These are delicious even when following their basic recipe. I go a step further by adding 3 tbsp wheat bran (also Bob's), replacing the water with milk (add a tad more if you add the bran), use 2 eggs, add 1 tsp vanilla and about a cup of wild blueberries (from the freezer section) plus 8-10 drops of maple extract. It truly doesn't add much time to making them, although it may seem like it would. I usually end up with about 10-11 pancakes per batch. I seriously crave these so often, they keep us full for hours! They heat up well, so sometimes I make 2 batches at a time.

Buckwheat pancake mix is so hard to find. I was so lucky to find Bob's Red Mill. I grew up eating buckwheat pancakes, so glad I came across this brand.

If your budget allows, this is a great product. It's a bit pricey but a nice treat for those of us who remember the nutty texture and taste of buckwheat. Used to be readily available in all grocery stores. Nostalgia always seems to be more of a luxury anymore !!!

Following the exact instructions is imperative....The pancakes AND waffles come out as good as you could expect. They move easy, flip easy, come out moist. I will use this product again, and wish that my Wal Mart carried this particular BOBs wheat mix.

if you have a taste for buckwheat,this is pretty good.not the best i`ve ever had,but not bad at all.smother the pancakes with sausage gravy.that makes them yummy.

Great mix, Didn't realize how easy it is to make from scratch. Thats the last time I buy a mix.

Wasn't bad, but just didn't have the same flavor as buckwheat flour pancakes that I've had in the past.
