Citracal Slow Release 1200 Calcium With Vitamin D3, Caplets, 92 Count

These slow-release calcium supplements were recommended to me by my physical therapist, since I have osteoporosis. I've been using them now for a couple of years. They're smaller in size than the ones I used previously, making them easier to swallow.

I had started taking a different brand of Calcium supplements but they were “softgels” which had so much oil in them they gave me a very upset stomach. These are tablets. No oil. No stomach problems.

I need the calcium due to bone loss %26 with intense research in available products - this is the best! I haveen taking them daily for years along with magnesium (to help with absorption) and blod tests show remarkable improvement. (potent 1200 mg. time released)

This product is good for someone who takes meds once a day.this way you get your dosage of Calcium everyday with the convenience of taking t only one time. I would forget to take my second dose of Calcium and this product is my cure all for that. The price is the lowest I could find

This is the one for me; I take care of two things in this one product, my vitamin D and my calcium. This one absorbs with or without food and it has not caused me any stomach upset. The added heart protection is another plus. I would highly recommend this product.

I am 80 and I've always only used white Kleenex brand! I have a sinus condition and have a white Kleenex in my hand 24/7! No other tissue can compare to it! In fact, my Will has for me to have a white Kleenex brand (ONLY) in my hands when I'm cremated!!!

I stated that I would recommend this item, yes it is good, I just wish Great Value/Walmart/Spring Valley would make this in the 1200 w/D3. I personally have to take 2 of these a day and for the price, wow. The other brands listed above are cheaper, but I would have to take 6-8 a day plus a D3.

The caplets are huge. Donn't buy if you have trouble swallowing. The'flavor' if there is any, is disgusting Will try to return the 2 nd bottle. As always, Walmart was very gracious.

so ONCE DAILY is deceptive. Yep, fine print -it is TWO TABLETS once daily... so in fact only 40-days. Get another brand with dosage clearly stated, more economical. Otherwose product is fine.
