Classic Cuisine 1.5 Quart Stainless-Steel Double Boiler Pot 3 Piece Set

My daughter has been looking everywhere for the one she had in her attic. Since there was a possibility that she donated it, I decided to just get her a new one. It was the last thing she expected, and her search is over. She loves it.

I love how the way this pot helped me get my orders done I make different kind of candies and when I use it for melting chocolate or melting something and I love this pot. I will definitely buy it again. I will definitely buy a bigger pot also.

This review is for the Classic Cuisine 1.5 Quart Stainless-Steel Double Boiler Pot 3 Piece Set. This set includes two nesting pots and a glass lid. I measured the thickness of the metal to be 0.02" thick. The bottom of the outer pot has a heat sink to dissipate heat. The handles are spot welded onto the pot in 6 places. Due to thin material, there are indentations of the spot weld visible inside the pots. See the pictures included in this review. The pictures highlight the indentations more than they appear from casually glancing at the pots. The spot welds are cosmetic in nature and do not affect the useability of the pot. The handles on the pots fit comfortably in my hand. The quality is acceptable for occasional use; however, I would select a higher quality pot for daily use. I would purchase again.

Material is a little light but the double boiler does exactly what we need.

It is too small I put water in the bottom and it bowl out all over the stove.
