Pearled barley in a bulk size sold by a reputable company . Non GMO and a delicious healthy grain to use in many different dishes. I will be serving this in soups , as breakfast cereal and to replace other grains in variuous dishes such as taboulah and pilafs and hot dishes . I love the texture of this grain and the flavor.

They don't sprout.
I have been sprouting for 30 years with great success. However, the barley I bought is not able to sprout. These are not living. I'll get 2 to 3 to sprout and the rest sit and spoil. I've tried sprouting that three times with the same results each time.
