Purchased for a nursing home resident. Perfect fit for her room. Holds her favorite yogurts and canned drinks along with any "doggie bags" brought home after outings.
I needed a compressor cooled refrigerator to store my meds in my bedroom for convenience. If it's inconvenient I tend to forget and not bother when I do remember. The compressor keeps the temperature more consistent and cold enough even in the warm months since it doesn't rely on ambient temperatures where it might be too warm in the summer time. This was the perfect price for exactly what I needed. It is nice to have the extra space to put drinks and keep by my work desk. The bottom shelf space is a bit limited due to the in door storage, but still leaves plenty of storage space for a bedroom fridge. There is a small freezer that is enough to keep maybe some ice cream treats, but I haven't tried to store them in there yet. It is a cute little fridge. It was easy to put together with the exception of the handle. It has to go in exactly and difficult to lock into place. It is not a functional handle, instead the door opens and closes via suction, or pulling on the door to break the suction. The door is adequately sealed. I feel no cold coming from it. The compressor is comfortably quiet enough to not bother me at night. I did read that some people had trouble with dings and dents on delivery, but mine was in perfect shape. I'm not crazy about the little decoration on the bottom of the fridge, but it's there so...... Overall, would definitely recommend this fridge for personal/bedroom use and feel confident it will keep my meds fresh for a good cost, while giving me extra space to keep drinks for my work day.
I purchased this mini fridge for my off-grid mini cabin. It uses very little power and became very cold quickly. The cabin is cold right now being late November, so keep that in mind. I love the size, color, and efficiency and hope to use this well after it's current intended purpose.
It's so cute and works really well! It's bigger than it seems in the picture and can fit a lot of drinks which is what I mainly use it for. Unfortunately there is a problem closing the door as it sticks out just slightly so I have to shove it closed each time. I could've returned it for a fixed one but I didn't want to go through the trouble. Also the door handle was a bit difficult to install and seems pretty flimsy.
For starters, this isn't actually made by Frigidaire; they licensed the name to a company called Curtis International. What led me to even look at that is all the fire risk warnings in the manual- it's pretty alarming. Appearance-wise, the picture here is not accurate- it's not a plain front, it's got that weird emblem at the bottom like the other colors. Problem being that aside from it looking dumb on the gray, it's basically just a sticker, and this one was peeling off right out of the box. Then it says multiple times that the door is reversible, but for the life of me I can't figure out how, and there's literally no directions anywhere. The handle itself is purely decorative, which while I get it, is still a bummer. Also, it says in multiple places that it comes with an ice cube tray; it does not. It comes with a DRIP TRAY to go underneath the freezer section. All in all, the info provided by the manufacturer is pretty misleading imo. What makes it even worse is that in the course of looking for more info on this fridge (like how to reverse the door, which I never found) what I did find is a bunch of reviews talking about how this mini fridge literally catches fire (it's a known issue apparently, which also explains all the fire warnings in the manual) and how the manufacturer is utterly useless with warranty claims. What good is a warranty if they won't honor it? For the price, this fridge is extremely disappointing and absolutely not worth it imo. I'll be returning this asap.
I ordered this online as a gift. It came in damaged. It has deep dents on the corner. So disappointing for the person who received it as a gift and even more disappointing that it was in such bad shape! Since I ordered this online I was hoping to find a contact to reach but no such luck. I'll keep looking but they don't make it easy.
opened box to find the fridge was dented. confused me because the box was not damaged. The return process was a pain since they required the damaged fridge repackaged. it was an online order/return from Walmart. i should have been able to return it to a store but thru had me use the Fedex at the store. Just FYI.
This item looks like it would have been so neat, but the packaging by the manufacturer is insufficient. it has thin non-corrugated cardboard strips taped to the front two corners, which did not prevent the middle of one side getting crumpled and a dent across the front. And the only remedy is for me (in poor health) to pack this bulky item up to take to a store for a refund, no exchange. This is an immense burden to me. Not cool!
Go to a store to purchase. Mine arrived with one of the legs missing, cannot get a replacement part anywhere. Did not want to fool with manufacturer who is in France I believe. 2nd time I have had a problem with Walmart big ticket items. NO MORE!!!!
The fridge itself, is adorable and totally a vibe. Its super spacious and would be super convenient, however it doesn't work. It doesn't get cold it just stays warm, I feel like I've tried everything I could've done to fix it including calling Frigidaire and they couldn't even figure it out.
