We've owned several countertop ice machines made by others. They generally start leaking from the bottom after a year or so and the ice is cubed, so not much in a batch.This one is the best, it has a plug underneath to drain water and clean the machine, and it makes LOTS OF CRUSHED ICE1

This is the best purchase I have made in a very long time! It has ran non-stop since arriving and is able to keep up with my household of 5! I only wish the ice storage basket were bigger but I just dump it into a ziplock and place it in the freezer. We had ice within 10 minutes of filling it up and turning it on. 10/10 recommend!

I had gotten another brand and after making ice once it stopped working. This ice maker is preforming as advertised. We are really enjoying the ice.\ Frigidaire has always been reliable, as a matter of fact our kitchen appliances are Frigidaire. Great value and have recommended the ice maker to a few people, and they seem just as happy as us. Found it to be a great value

This is my fourth Frigidaire ice maker. The first Frigidaire Retro lasted about a year. That's what I expected, but my second Frigidaire Retro ice maker lasted just about 2 years which was longer than expected, then I got the Big Frigidaire Gallery 44 pound a day nugget ice maker and absolutely love it. I like having a second one going so when I am cleaning one the other is making ice so since Frigidaire hasn't let me down on the last 3 I got this one and wow, it started producing ice almost immediately! It has only been a few days but I am super impressed. I really hope it lasts as long as my last Frigidaire Retro ice maker.

I'm searching for the perfect countertop crunchy ice machine. This machine is compact and easy to use. Easy set up, easy refill, easy scoop. The ice nuggets are squarish shaped and small. The square shape causes them to stick together in the cup, they are hard to shake out and chew. The crunch is good, but the shake from the cup is not the best. Overall, good for the price if you are on a budget because the perfect shake and crunch is much pricier.

If you are looking for a nugget ice maker on a budget absolutely grab this one. It makes ice quick and in nice quantity which is soft to chew. The only 2 cons Ice melts quickly (not really a con cause the water recycles) Noice levels are high to a point where switch it off at night.

Extremely noisy appliance! It makes racket 24/7 when it is turned on. Sounds like a small cement mixer when it is running. I don't expect this thing to last more than a couple of months. Coulda got numerous other off- brands but thought Frigidaire would be better. Dissapointed.

I LOVE the size chewable bullets!!! BUT this machine runs inconsistently and is very loud. I don't know when it's going to work/run and when it won't. I check all tubes and what not to make sure no clogs and clean it… it just happens. I started having these issues slowly but surly 3 months in and it's been less than a year still and getting worse. Would like an exchange at least please

I purchased this item for $100, however when it arrived there was a $80 clearance sticker attached. When I contacted customer service I was given the "green light" for the $20 difference. Later I received an email stating that the $20 difference wouldn't be honored, that if I wanted the.$20 that I would have to do a return and then repurchase at the sticker's clearance price . I'm disappointed since most of my shopping is online due to mobility issues.

This ice machine has not been what I expected the ice keeps jamming and it will shut off with the red light saying ice full or add water and none of those things are wrong. If I would have none I would have went with a bigger more expensive ice machine. I will never purchase another Frigidaire ice machine
