so easy to get that miso flavor for miso soup. just cut a corner in the bag, squirt some into some hot water, and mix. will buy again.

We purchase this to have miso soup any time with a meal or as just soup to warm up. This package is convenient. I just cut a little corner off, squeeze out what I need, then place tge whole thing inside a small tupperware container in the fridge. Remember that air, heat and age may darken the miso paste color, but it is still good.

the item arrived looking dark brown instead of being White! So I am not sure what exactly I received

Switch labels to sell items as white miso. I have NEVER in all my years and I’m 70 have I ever had a white miso come RED. Who knows what is really in this.

??? What the heck is this. I've had red miso before and this is entirely different. Dark brown, almost red. The packaging says the colour may change but this much of a change in both color and texture (it is literally a liquid and not a paste) should not be possible. No expiry date and was never informed of the color change.

Seller is knowingly selling the wrong item. It is labeled white but instead of being white like in the picture, it is red. There are reviews about this happening and yet the seller does not fix the issue. Therefore, they are knowingly false advertising and taking $$ for it.

It came dark dark dark brown. Packaging says heat may affect color. Ummmm from white to like chestnut brown?

The white miso must have been in a high temp environment for a while because it is dark in color like the red miso. And it has no expiration or manufacturer date posted anywhere on it. How will I know when this item expires or when it was first made?
