I prefer these short-acting pills to 12 hour power pills. i can control my symptoms more easily %26 effectively. And they work well to loosen mucus %26 get it out of my respiratory system. No drowsiness or noticeable side effects except they may make your urine smell unpleasant.
This is the same medicine doctors prescribe for excess mucus in the sinuses and lungs, just a lower dose. I’ve had chronic problems with mucus since childhood, and used to get prescriptions for guaifenesin regularly. I was very happy to find this generic version over the counter (OTC). Since it is a low dose, I can control how much or how little I take, depending on my current health. When I had COVID, I increased the dose, which really did help with the COVID symptoms. This is a good med to have in the cabinet for occasional or chronic excess mucus. It’s affordable and works well. I hope this review has been helpful 😊
I smoked for over 40 years and had to quit a couple years ago because I was having a hard time breathing (can't believe how long it the smoking to have this affect). I still get pretty congested when I wake up so I started popping one of these in the morning and it does a good job of loosening up the flem so I can get rid of it. It's like a lot of things though, some people say it doesn't work and some do. At least it's at a good price and I like how many it has because you can spend a lot more for a lot less.
These are smaller caplet that's easier to swallow. They work quite well. Great price. Will purchase again. I have to use these daily. It's a brand that works (generic) but works better than mucinex. So I'm going to stay with what works. Better price tablet size etc. all the way around. Thank you, Vicki P.
Don't spend extra money on the name brands. This product works exactly the same and is so much cheaper. I've been taking it to help clear my lungs out after a bad case of the flu and it works very well. Would definitely recommend.
THE PILLS ARE MUCH SMALLER THEN THE BRAND NAME --BUT I JUST TAKE TWO TO MAKE UP FOR IT--MY HUSBAND HAS A PROBLEM TAKEING LARGE PILLS BUT HE CAN TAKE THESE--
I switched to this brand when the price on my previous brand increased the price. I am very pleased with this brand and will continue to buy it for 'morning phlegm.
This works just as well as the Mucinex brand name for helping clear congestion. It's also better quality than another generic I've tried (don't recall the manufacturer name).
I just got this bottle delivered and opened it ready to take a couple tablets and it smelled terrible, like some kind of toxic chemical. I asked both my sisters to smell and tell me what they thought and both said they would not trust putting this in their bodies, so guess what, I paid 13 dollars down the drain because I will not be taking any of these. I have never had a tablet smell like this bad ever and haven't a clue why these do. I cannot afford to go buy the Walmart brand which I have also used right now but will go back to Equate when I have the money. I am a senior, disabled on a fixed income. I don't know if I just got a bad batch because other reviews seem to not mention this but believe me, the smell is intense and does not smell like something you want to chance taking.
don't buy online and pick up at Walmart super center store number 715 on Skyland Blvd in Tuscaloosa Alabama. they are ripping people off by keeping some of your items from your pickup orders. I called the 1800 number to let them know I had 14 items missing from my almost $800.00 worth of groceries and asked for a refund . 2 days later I still haven't received any emails or texts from them stating that I am getting a refund for the 14 missing items. so I called the store to talk to the manager and let him know that they need to talk to their shoppers and make sure people get everything in their orders. naturally he wasn't in so they gave me a department manager. I explained to him what had happened and he said mam that's not our problem that's a Walmart. Com problem. so I asked him if that's their new policy to keep people's items and keep the money they paid for them too and he said mam like i told you that's not our problem it's a Walmart. Com problem. so unless you're looking to get ripped off don't shop online and pick up at Walmart super center store number 715 because they will keep some of items you paid for and they won't refund you for them.
