The main thing I use this for is to pop a dime size amount in my mouth after a meal, it is great for digestion and leaves a cleaned pallet. Why I buy fennel seed as well.

When I first open the jar, it was very fragrant anise has a licorice smell to it, and it has a licorice flavor that it adds to baked goods and boy was it first quality spice.

Anise seeds (about 1 tsp in a pot of homemade spaghetti sauce makes a delectable , delicious 😋🤤 flavor!!!

This anise seed is flavorful and great in many dishes. I've used it in soups, homemade sausage, homemade pepperoni, pizzelles, and biscotti.

It has a sweet aroma and it's spicy-flavoured. Use a little so that it doesn't overpower the dish you're making.

These anise seeds are not as flavorful as what they should be. I don't know if it is the specific type or what is affecting the taste. The taste seems to be very indistinct. I often bake with anise.

Ordered from Walmart, not delivered as promised X 2, then after 2 more days the order was canceled by the store. 3 broken promises, another delay and just canceled by store.
