The surface area of my swivel in-the-wall mounted, drop down, wooden ironing board is 42" long by 11 3/4" wide. It's 1" thick, with a tapered round front end. This silver silicone coated replacement cover fits. It was challenging to get it stretched over the entire board, but once on, it's smooth and secure. At the front end and sides of the board, the cover wraps to the underside with its elastic edges. This cover has no draw strings, grommets, velcro, or snaps. At the back end of the board, the cover does not wrap to the underside, which is OK because of its swivel function. At the back end the elastic goes over the top edge and keeps the cover in place by hugging the side of the board. The description says there is a thick fiber pad. The fabric has some thickness, but I would not refer to it as being padded. I am pleased with this cover.
This Stowaway ironing board cover fits very well on my built in ironing board although the brand on mine is "Hideaway". It is nicely padded and was easily installed with the sewn in elasticised border.

The size of the iron board cover is a little bit large which is good. When it has to be washed I won't have to worry about shrinkage.

I have a built in ironing board and have shopped many stores looking for the correct size. Found it on Walmart.com ordered it shipped to store and picked it up a few days later. A perfect fit. Very pleased with the quality.
Good quality for the price. Unfortunately I had to return it. It was too large for my tabletop ironing board.
Fit was passable, actually stapled in place. I haven't used it yet, but I have little hope for this IRONING BOARD COVER. Why do the care instructions say to wash in COLD WATER and dry on LOW HEAT??? Am I supposed to only use a COOL IRON? I find this a bit ridiculous.
The cover is a great value but didn't fit the Stow Away board. It was about an inch short. I didn't want to bother with a return so I cut the board down in lenght by 1 inch and then it fit.
My board measurements were the exact same as advertised, but it would not fit. Would not stretch to go over the board. Had to return.
