This stuff is so good! We make it with some ready rice and some of the refried beans on tortillas with some guacamole and sour cream and salsa and in less than 10 minutes have a really good meal.
This was surprisingly good. I recommend that you spice it up. I use it for barbarcoa tacos with onion and avocado slices.
Not at the to of my list to buy again, but their isn't really anything wrong with it just not the flavor that I want or like.
has a good taste. perfect for tacquitos. roll up into corn or flour tortillas. squeeze out the water before using. odd product but authentic taste.
8 ounce bag and not 16 ounce, I used this to make Barbacoa and bean soup, love the La Castena beans, fast and easy
This type of meat was convenient for a fast dinner. Only 2 minutes to heat up and with uncle Bens instant rice, it was fine. Don't worry about the package. It worked well. The sauce was spicy but not the meat. I didn't realize that and drained the sauce which made it really mild for bbq it was ok for a quick meal
I'd love to leave 0 stars, but that's not possible when leaving a review. This is NOT even close to the quality of barbacoa I expected to come from Mexico. Barbacoa isn't supposed to have an opaque orange liquid. I purchased this as a surprise for my boyfriend, who grew up eating barbacoa. We both hated this brand and threw it away after a couple of bites each. Taco Bell is more authentically Mexican than this. I'll be making it from scratch from now on.
Product info is wrong. It's 8 ounces. And about half of that is liquid. It tastes good, but VERY expensive.
THE FLAVORFUL SAUCE IS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, BUT THE MEAT IS SO TOUGH AND STRINGY I JUST COULDN'T EAT IT
It says you're getting 15 ounces, when in fact you're only going to get 8 ounces. Total bait and switch!
