KitchenAid® Artisan® Mini 3.5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer, Counter Silver, KSM3316X

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Artisan Mini 3.5 - since I just needed it for cookie, brownie, quick bread baking. So far it has worked just fine with heavy/thick dough (molasses cookies). I don't plan to be working with larger amounts of dough, so this smaller size seems fine so far. Machine tucks nicely under my kitchen cabinets. Easy clean up, I will not place in dishwasher.

The more compact size means that it takes up less bench space but still stands out as a feature in the kitchen. I love cooking Italian food and my Mini has been perfect for mixing and kneeding pizza and pasta dough with the included dough hook. The amount of time and mess it saves is insane. For anyone questioning the size, the Mini has been big enough to create 7-8 pizza's worth of dough at once, and more than enough to make pasta dough for our family of four. I can't wait to purchase some pasta making attachments and build my collection!

Pretty good little stand mixer. There's only one thing i would like to recommend to everyone who wants to purchase one. Get yourself the flex edge beater and a spare bowl. Secondly i really would recommend that you take the time and adjust the machine as described in the manual. The beater was far to high from factory setup.

This device is very helpful with my baking and I love to explore more nice recipes with it and see what this baby can help me out in the kitchen. It's strong to make bread as my old one can't and fast too. It's easy to use and clean, and I think it's gonna be my last mixer as I figure out this durability can be last forever use. And this beauty is matching with the kitchen colour, perfect!

I have owned a few KitchenAid mixers, the larger bowl lift models. I currently own a commercial grade bowl lift mixer. It is heavy and a bit awkward to move around. Hence... thought I'd try the Artisan Mini. It is super easy to move around. Just as the larger models, it has more than enough power to both mix smaller batches of dough and operate all my accessory attachments. My meat grinderattachment requires the most power and this little fella doesn't even grunt! On top of all these advantages, it has the quietest motor of any of the other mixers I've owned. If its 3.5 qt capacity is large enough for your needs, then get one of these minis.

I received this from my partner on the weekend for my birthday. Have used it once to make a cheesecake. Easier than my old hand held mixer but beater does not reach bottom of bowl so didn't completely mix all the filling. I am going to order the flex beater & hope that will get to the bottom of the bowl.

This is my first KitchenAid Mixer. I have had the Mini Artisan for a few weeks now. I would highly recommend it. My only qualm is regarding the bowl. I feel like it is too small. However, having used the machine a number of times now I have not had any issues mixing a standard sized cake. In all the machine is super handy and I wish I had purchased it earlier.

just to small of bowl. it had a hard time mixing flour to make a small amt. of bead dough. I love the size but just wasnt practical for me. i purchased the regular size with the 5.4 quart bowl an returned the Mini.
