I read some reviews before buying and didn't have high hopes. I was wrong. This thing is amazing and the quality is great. I bought some turkey that was on sale. It works so great. Also, it is really easy to clean. I absolutely love it and would recommend it to everyone.

AWESOME
This is such an awesome grinder!!!! Do easy to attach and use. Never got clogged. Was very efficient to use, along with easy clean up!! Would so buy this again!! Will be using for all my grinding usage, and going to add the puree attachment soon too!!

the sausage maker
Excellent product. Made 10lbs of breakfast sausage with ease and clean up was simple. I would recommend this Kitchen Aid meat grinder to anyone that asked.

Too slow
The hopper where you place food to feed into the grinder is too small so you have to spoon it a little at a time. Takes too long.

It broke
We have used this grinder to process meat. Today, it broke. One of the bolts that holds it all together broke and now we have a whole bunch of meat that we can't grind up. Definitely not happy with this! I wish I could add pictures but when I click on "Add images", nothing happens.

Kitchen Aid Knew about this defect
I have a very light use for this attachment on my kitchen aid mixer. I use it once about every two months to grind 5-6 Pounds of chuck beef. This is is cracked and dangerous to use. Kitchen Aid knew everything about the defect in manufacturing and is quiet about it instead of honoring the defect and refunding customers. That is how credible Kitchen Aid is.

Bolt Snapped
Only use this grinder to grind up meat. Definitely was not happy when the bolt snapped. And can't even get replacement parts for it. It worked very well and was so convenient for the few times it did work. Only got a handful of uses out of it before one of the bolts snapped.

I have only used this attachment about 5 times and the plastic hopper/grinder part has cracked where the piece mates with the motor. It's close to falling apart. A very disappointing purchase but love the mixer
