Bought this for a bridge system that I set up between my house and dog kennel. I was going to run another bridge from my kennel to my barn but the the signal was actually strong enough that if I stand by the barn door I get perfect internet reception. This router puts out a good strong system.

What I like about this router is the speed. I pay for a 300 mbps speed with the cable Co and I get 300 or more. I also liked the set up. When you download the app you don't have to give your email like other routers I bought in the past.

It advertise ax wifi 6 , but unless is set as a node on a mesh it only delivers 2g and 5g only like an ac router and does not even let set up 6g. Good feature is the one name wifi which uses connected devises to deliver the best connections (2g or 5g).

Not too intuitive for the setup. must download mobile apps but the devise only allows one auto frequency for the dual brand, unable to designate 2.4 or 5ghz to allow for specific wifi devise connection. Contacted Linksys customer support and was told the unit is out of warranty even though it was brought less than 2 months ago. Had to return as it doesnt work with my dual band need. if your home devises can support any GHz speed than it would be a good value.

I had to disconnect and reconnect everything twice before it worked. It seems to connect ok however websites load very slowly on my laptop, which didn't happen with my old router. Also I have smart plugs and an indoor pet camera that only work on 2.4g and now none of them will connect to the phone apps even tho I split the router connection into separate 2.4 and 5g mode. I'm probably going to return it because none of my smart accessories work with it. Very frustrating

I HATE this router because it is automated and requires a cell phone to set it up. This is not the fault of Walmart, although I do wish it were stated in the description, again, do not think this is a Walmart issue, but instead a Linksys product issue.

Terrible customer service. 😞 I regret buying it.. equipment is not the best quality… look for better options but different brand .. This company will try to rip you off for troubleshooting … terrible

First n foremost, the vendor (seller) for this item has MANY negative reviews on trustpilot venue and so I had huge reservations on purchasing this item. Item arrived with new condition. Unfortunately, unable to configure this router. Tried to directly log onto the router via 192.168.1.1, but was blocked amd was forced to download linksys app to configure the router...sadly, the linksys app is not compatible with my 2024 A15 Galaxy 5G phone which runs the latest Android OS. I called Linksys manufacturer CS for assistance and support and they said the serial number link to this router is out of warranty as this product is no longer supported by Linksys. At this point, unable to get this item working, so sending the router back for full refund.
