NOW Foods Astaxanthin, 4 mg, 60 Veggie Softgels

I used to use another Astaxanthin 4 mg but they quit carrying it. I have used this one by NOW for a long time and find it a great replacement. I don't think I will change.

This is a valuable staple in my nutritional supplements.

I had been reading so much about the tremendous benefits of Astaxanthin that I decided to order some. I notced that Swanson's website showed that their product was unavailable from the manufacturer. So I called Swanson to see if their product would be available shortly. One of the very congenial and helpful Swanson operators stated that she didn't think so; then she recommended this one from NOW Foods. She mentioned that it was only $2 more. This is the preferred 4 mg. dosage that I had been reading about, so I ordered a bottle. I have since reordered, because it is giving me exactly what I wanted: a powerful carotenoid free-radical-fighter antioxidant that is also very good for my eyes. Vision is so valuable that I do everything I can for my eyes. I feel that Astaxanthin is keeping me --- and my eyes --- young. Personally, I take 1 or 2 of these very nice, very small soft-gel capsules every morning. I definitely plan to keep Astaxanthin as a permanent part of my nutritional supplement program. I gladly recommend it.

This product worked better than expected. I noticed an improvement in my skin within 3-4 days. This suggests to me that other health benefits are occurring internally when I can see an externally noticeable difference. I think it has helped with my immune system as well. I take it with a krill oil supplement and try to take it after eating food with healthy fats and oils to improve the solubility and availability. Great product!

I've been taking Astaxanthin shortly after learning of its benefits years ago. I have taken the Swanson brand but and tried a Bio Astin 's Hawaiian brand, although they latter two brands are good, I have returned to reorder the Now Foods brand again. I like the fact that they use a olive oil, a veggie softgel and that it's gluten free.

I read that astaxanthin is a very powerful antioxidant and that you can also get this from krill but not in the amount that you get from taking it by itself. I feel good on this supplement and I believe that it aids in maintaining my good health. Add this to your daily regimen, It is worth it.

Astaxanthin is touted to be a strong antioxidant for the body--aside from the eye health benefits it bodes. This is a small dark brown easy to swallow softgel; easy to take daily. I have yet to be able to "see" any results as it is an antioxidant after all, but Swanson is known for their 7-leaf guarantee and tradition of great products!

The product Astaxanthin suppose to be very good for the eyes. And it may be, but it didn't do a thing for my eyes. As a matter of fact I think my eyes got worse. The product was delivered in a timely manner and the packaging that the product was in was good.
