While researching 5-HTP I found that this has anecdotal data for migraine support. I found that it may help with serotonin levels. For me and my medical history I thought this would be beneficial. I am a woman of a certain age and my headaches have increased. I have only been taking this for a week and it does cause some abdominal discomfort for a short time after taking. I will say that I had been having daily migraines before and I have had reprieve for a couple of days since taking. Time will tell if it works as well as I hope. I have also noticed an improved mood.
