I chopped some potato and onion into the crockpot and added a can of low sodium chicken broth, and this Pioneer country gravy mix…so yummy! If you want to cheat, add a bag of shredded O'Brien potatoes instead of chopping potatoes, and onion. Can add so many things!

I am a Walmart associate. My husband likes using this pioneer gravy mix as it is very easy to make gravy out of it compared to the traditional way of making gravy. he really likes the flavor of this gravy when he makes sausage gravy out of it for biscuits. this gravy is inexpensive and makes a lot of gravy. he recommends using milk and not water. if you want a thicker gravy and you can also just pour the mix into your sausage and then add the milk. Great product! Great product!

i meant to get sausage flavor. the packaging changed and i didnt pay attention but country gravy is good too. its about the brand mainly. good quality and price. i will use it but next time i will make sure to get the sausage flavor. if u havent tried it, you should.

I was so surprised at how good this packet gravy turned out to be. I sauteed some boneless skinless chicken thighs and then when they were almost done I poured this gravy on top of it and let it all simmer together. Fantastic. Does NOT taste packaged.

😊👍❤️ I used to always make my own country gravy but as I got older and my children got married etc. I tried out these country gravy mixes. And trust me I've tried different brands and this brand is the Absolute Best and it tastes like what I used to make homemade.! Thanks Walmart

I can cook lots of things but cant get gravy right lol, im grateful for gravy mixes so i can still have gravy for my chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. I wish the price would stay under a dollar though, i mean the ingredients are so cheap but i guess im paying for convenience. I add a mix of milk instead of all water, it kind of cuts the salt and adds a richness to it.

It has a nice, hearty taste and makes a quick, satisfying gravy for biscuits, mashed potatoes, or breakfast. My only gripe is that it came out a little thinner than I expected—still tasty, just not quite as creamy as I hoped. Easy to prepare, flavorful, and a solid pantry staple.

This gravy mix makes good breakfast gravy, but for me and. a few others I know, the black pepper is a little overwhelming. If it had about half the amount found in it, it would be a 5 Star gravy mix. The flavor is very good and so is the texture. The original old time gravy in the South, did not have pepper in it. That was up to the person eating it. I think a lot of gravy mixes add pepper, thinking that will make it more like start from scratch gravy.
