My family lives this dal from Rani esp my kids. I always have to make it in lunch and dinner for my kids as they love having this even without rice . Good source of protein, less time to cook . Healthy and fine texture with even color better than other brands. Have always trusted this brand since long time.

We wanted to add more beans to our diet - these red lentils are nice. I soak the beans 1 hr before cooking, and then cook on the stovetop with broth for about 10 mins. We add them to our tacos and I plan to be adding them in our pastas.

I thought this was good dal, and it compared favorably to others I've tried. I'm a big fan of lentils, and I particularly like red lentils, because they're easier to cook and gentle on the stomach.
