I was truly amazed that these wonderful Indian red lentils. On a scale of bread crust at the bottom and pizza crust at the top, these red lentils almost made the chart. I can imagine these Indian red lentils would be nice and flavorful assuming they were prepared with something that had some flavor. I purchased this bag of Walmart lentils very cheap for my family, and now I know my family will always have food. We wanted to add more beans to our diet - these red lentils are nice. I soak the beans 1 hr before cooking, and then cook on the stovetop with broth for about 10 mins. We add them to our tacos and I plan to be adding them in our pastas.

There was I assume residue of the product in the bag which was popping around in the bag. Which was alarming to say the least!! I need to know what,why, and how that is!!?
