I have yet to open this and taste it tbh. BUT it's because this is not flaky salt. I can see through the packaging that it's a fine grain. I wanted flaky salt and haven't needed a fine grain so I haven'y opened it yet.

Wow!! U must be very proud of that salt!! I missed the size of the package was ONLY 7 oz! For $8!!! Guess I'd better look a bit closer next time!! At that price I just figured it would be a decent size!! What a disappointment!

Not flakey, still salt
It's salt for sure, but not flakey. It's granulated salt. For $8, I can get three times this amount if I wanted granulated salt.
