Excellent cooking wine. This cooking wine is premium, aged for five years, and has a depth of flavor. The packaging is next level in terms of how it's packed. Inside the wine box, there is foam with a cutout so that the bottle is totally wrapped and fitted insuring the bottle is safe and protected. This cooking wine is pricey, but the quality and packaging make the price more palatable.
I have replaced Sherry in my Asian cooking for the Shaoxing Wine and have rely noticed a taste different. Also when opening the package, chop sticks were included as an added plus....how cute!!
I like its rich flavor and robust seasoning blends which turned my Dry Sauteed String Beans into a delectable, mouthwatering dish, similar to what I get from fancy Chinese restaurants.
This cooking wine was purchased to use in Asian food recipes. I made the recipe without the wine for months thinking it really wouldn't matter. Boy was I ever wrong! It enhances the flavors of the meal. I recommend this cooking wine.
