I have bought these before and I love them because I can have them all in my cast-iron frying pans and unless they're going in the oven, they stay right on there.

I bought these to give as stocking stuffers, so I was happy to see the quality of the items. They're large enough to fit over the handles of the cast iron skillets my family membets use. The silicone looks thick enough to last through repeated use.

I received TWO pieces. The ad states four pieces. You get TWO. I don't know about effectiveness because I returned. If I can't trust their stated quantity, I don't trust the quality.
