SQUIRREL RESIST FEEDER (Pack of 1)

Most squirrel proof feeder I have found.

I am very happy so far and the true test was last night... I watched a young racoon climb onto it, hang from it for several minutes, trying to get in, and finally just gave up and left! My last squirrel-resistant feeder, the standard plastic tube inside of a metal cage, was useless against the raccoons. They could twist open the cap so I put chains over the top and they pulled it off the hanging hook and when it fell to the ground, the plastic tube broke in half so that was the end of it. There is no feeder I know of that will claim to stop a raccoon because they are so crafty and clever, but this one stopped him! The solid metal design is amazing...it looks and feels very old-fashioned in a very good way. AND, the fact that I can put 7 pounds of food in it, plus the squirrels and deer and raccoons can't steal the food, means I am no longer filling my feeder twice a day! In fact, I haven't filled it in 2 days and it's still half-full!

If you have a squirrel problem, this feeder is great. I like the fact that the feeder is BIG which allows me to refill it every couple of weeks instead of every three or four days. High quality and worth the cost.

It is well-made and holds a lot of feed. We have it hanging from a trellis and it looks beautiful. FYI, we do have a smart squirrel, but it took him weeks to figure it out. LOL We drilled 2 small holes in the bottom for drainage. Birds love this.

Birds are skittish about eating out of it.

I am very disappointed with this bird feeder. It looks great and takes up to 4 lbs of bird seed to make it easier to refill less often than my old feeder. For some reason, the many birds that used to come daily to our feeder have stopped coming completely. Not sure if they are intimidated by the color of the feeder or the perch mechanism that closes off the feeding area when heavier birds or squirrels land on it. Miss seeing my winged friends outside my window every day.

Nice looking well built feeder, but doesnt attract birds!!! Maybe the openings are too small for the birds to get the seed! I need to send it back. Too bad.I liked the looks of it!

poorly made it took just 2 weeks for this squirrel resistant bird feeder to have the plexiglass eaten through by squirrels one put his head in and almost was beheaded, never again will I buy an Audubon product at one time a good product not any more

I like the color. I like that it holds a lot of food. I like that it was delivered quickly. However the birds cannot get the feed out of it when they land it shuts off their access.

This looks really pretty. But the birds leave the seed shells behind, and no new feed moves down to the feeing ports. So to me, it is actually useless :-(
