I like the formula and that one pill contains just 3 mg of Melatonin which is the right amount for me. The supportive blend of herbs are relaxing. If your pills smell a little "off" that may be the valerian root. It's a restful herb, but doesn't have the most pleasant smell :)
My fiancé likes the propriety blend of herbs in this. He takes it to help him sleep and wake up more refreshed. This is a rebuy for him because it works.
Nice deal on a dual pack of this product. I use it for myself, but also our oldest daughter. We're cautious with what products she takes of course, but this seems to be mild, and we don't notice any negative side-effects. It's effective for both of us.
These are fantastic. I have been taking one every night to help me fall asleep. They may induce very vivid dreams
Swanson Sleep is the best combination of sleep aids I have found and it is among my favorites when I shop for supplements.
Sleep like a baby with the Swanson Sleep Essentials, this has it all in one; sleepy herbs, Gaba, a little bit of calcium and magnesium, and melatonin. Did I forget anything? I hope not. Regardless, this is your best bang for your buck sleep supplement.
I really didn't notice any marked difference in sleep, but that is me. If it works for you, then by all means, buy it! I liked that it had melatonin, so I didn't have to double up the dose I was already taking. But, I didn't order it again because I didn't see any difference in sleeping.
I've purchased before and this Swanson product is wonderful! But this order never arrived. Lost by USPS via hurricane helene.
Never arrived.
Really thought it was a product to stay away from and had symptoms of grogginess and memory loss. Used two capsules and said never again. That being said I believe it contains the ingredients listed on the label. But I would not recommend this to anyone as a sleep aid.
