If you have Xfinity it does take a little bit to get it set up. The modem is great. You can have faster speed than the Xfinity modem, better security, and lose the monthly rental fee.

Exactly met my needs but was pretty expensive.

I bought this cable/route/phone unit to replace one from Xfinity. Thought it had what I needed in 24 - 8 connection potentials. Installed on second floor of house and was unable to get strong signal (i.e <5 meg/sec at 2.4 gig and <14 meg/sec 5 gig) in family room 35 feet away and downstairs. Had to purchase an extender which now limits the signal strength to less than 50% or original (both bands). My original router (in conjunction with Xfinity modem) easily reached the family room with strong signals. Big disappointment.

When ordered we did not know that the item was refurbished and coming from a third party. We spent 3 1/2 hours on the telephone with Comcast trying to get this router connected. It did not ever connect so was returned. When we tried to return it to Walmart on Centerville Road in Wilmington, Delaware (February 21, 2025) we were told that their customer service was down and had been for several days. The customer service was also closed the next day (February 22, 2025). We did finally took it to another store.

This modem was just like the one i had from Comcast/Xfinity and the reason i decided to buy it. The thought of saving $20 a month was another reason i got it. I hooked it then called Xfinity to activate it since i don't have the app. I talked to 3 different tech support guys over 3 days, none of them could activate it. I had to hook up my old modem and reactivate it to get my internet working. I kept the modem to try activating it again later but never got around to it. I should have returned it for a refund but i didn't so i'm out the money i paid for it. Oh well i have something i can take apart to see what's inside.

I just received this today. There was no packaging, no shrink or bubble wrap and the modem cable is very obviously used. There is nothing on the site indicating I was purchasing used and unboxed equipment. This is going back, very deceptive marketing.

after 3 hours, xfinity could not connect to the internet. they believe the modem is faulty and not working. how do I return this item?

because you canceled my order with no explanation after making me wait longer than expected to receive item and when I questioned delay you canceled my order. very unprofessional.

The product came in a box with absolutely no packaging protection. No bubble wrap or anything and the smallest amount of tape possible that box was pretty much open. Would not recommend buying from this seller

Horrible company to deal with ,sent used product that was returned and missing parts.Took 3 weeks to get here,Returned the product back to Walmart.Still have not received my refund.
