Blues Hog Lump Charcoal, Single Sourced for Heat & Smoke Consistency, 15.4 lbs

This is the best charcoal I have ever used the flavor than it inparts in the food is just amazing! It lights well, big chunks, it smells wonderful! (My wife generally can't hardly stand the smell of charcoal burning, but she really likes this) I absolutely recommend this charcoal!!!

I absolutely love this lump Charcoal, I grill and smoke a lot of meats and this lump Charcoal didn't disappoint. The flavor is amazing and it burns very well, I normally get fogo but was very disappointed in my last two bags. I loved how it didn't have that strong smell like some of these other lump Charcoals and I have tried a lot. This one has now become my favorite lump Charcoal. Will definitely purchase this again, so glad I tried it out. It had big lumps, FYI to everyone out there if you happen to get a bag with smaller pieces it's because these bags get thrown around and they break. This was a great buy, going to order more.

Amazing value per dollar. Clean burning, far less smoke than briquettes and affordable. I maybe like this more than Fogo or Jealous Devil.

i like Blues hog seasoning. I like the BBQ sauce. These chunks for grilling did not dissapoint at all. Spot on taste smoke flavor.

Negatives: Burns faster than other brands that I've tried. Positives: No sparking. Did see some reviews saying that their bags came in smaller pieces or very large chunks. Our bag had solid reasonably sized chunks, but maybe we were lucky.

Not really lump charcoal. More line chip charcoal. The pieces appeared to be small sawmill cutoff. No piece Ingersoll than 1x3x1/2. This charcoal immediately took my green egg to 600 degrees it burned so hot and fast. I can use it in my bigger smoker sparingly but not a lot at a time. I have been using the green egg for 10 years and this has never happened.

Almost all small pieces. It burns hot and had great smoke flavor. Unfortunately, it does not last like it should since it contains all smalls. I used to search out this charcoal specifically but I am very disappointed in this batch.

I'll start by saying that I love the Blue Hog products. This bag of lump charcoal however, had a large rock and a piece of metal in it. I have had smaller rocks in other bags of charcoal previously but nothing this size. It was larger than my fist and had some weight to it. The piece of metal was concerning but fortunately fell into my ash basket. I hope this is an anomaly but disappointing to say the least.

This is the worst lump charcoal I have purchased. There were no medium to bigger pieces, and calling the small pieces small is an overstatement. I basically bought a bag of charcoal dust.

Couldn't use the product. It was unusable because it's was all powder not in chucks Threw the bag away.
